Obz Hotel — Hotel in Observatory

The restaurant is just ok, room service not so good because they don't change the bedding sheets and one has to ask for towels everyday and sometimes you will be told that the towels are still in the machine being washed. No air freshener in the toilet. Not good for sharing because the bathroom/toilet does not have a door. The staff in the hotel is very friendly. The place doesn't fit to be a hotel but a self catering guesthouse just for a day sleep over. The restaurant where the breakfast is served is just horrible, they serve you tea in dirty utensils and 30 minutes later they bring the something completely different from what you ordered, e.g if you said toasted brown bread and scrembled eggs. You get white bread, not toasted with half done eggs and not that the restaurant is busy, just young lazy staff who seem not to be knowing what they are doing. I was supposed to have breakfast for 5 days there but the first day thought me never to return as could not drink nor eat their food. If you decide to take a chance with them, please never count on their breakfast.

Safety wise, there is CCTV always watched by the receptionist and receptionist at night are males, but me and my friend we did experience a knock midnight of a person knocking but not talking and we decided not to answer nor ask any one about it in the morning.

Okay not only was it a nightmare. But then we go for breakfast and can't get coffee . Can't have any of the options available as they apparently cant make most items on gad cause the electricity was down. But before we left the lady did an expecting. SAID ALL WAS OKAY. AFTER THE POOR EXCUSE OF BREAKFAST WE HAD I WAS STANDING OUT SIDE SPAR . THE GUY FROM. THE RESTAURANT CAME TO ME AND DEMANDED I COME BACK TO THE HOTEL. AND TOLD ME THERE ARE ITEMS MISSING OUT THE ROOM. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. THE PEOPLE AROUND ME HEARD THESE ACCUSATIONS. I WENT BACK AND ASKED WHAT WAS MISSING. APPARENTLY HOUSE KEEPING SAID THERE WERE 2 TOWLES. NOW NOTE THIS IS AFTER I TOLD THE GUY DURING HIS INSPECTION WE ONLY HAD ONE TOWEL. SHE MENTIONED SOME THING ELSE AN THATS WHEN I LOST MY COOL. I DEMANDED THEY SEARCH MY BAG. THE RECEPTIONIST REFUSED. I WAS TOTALLY EMBARRASSED. NOT ONLY WAS I GIVEN I ROOM I NEVER WANTED. BUT IT HAD NOTHING ADVERTISED online . One towel. No toilet paper. A horrible blanket that looked and felt so horrible. No and soap. Dirty room in general. Was given dirty glasses . Was asked to put the TV softer and it was on 10. Early hours in the morning some guy was shouting and woke me up that went on or a while. No coffee. I mean hello what the heck actually. My stay was so unpleasant. And I feel that I wasted.my money...

What a disappointment, the place is nothing like in the pictures, my 5 friends and I booked for 5 nights but couldn't not even stay a night, the place was dirty, smelly I don't know what that smell is but it was so strong to bear. Linens dirty, as if they were never changed after the last occupants, bathrooms not cleaned as if we were not expected. The hygiene was not good at all, one friend started reacting, her body was itchy and my sinuses were bad so much that we had to leave. The window in one room couldn't close and that was unsafe while the place in its own was a bit dodgy. The staff wasn't too helpful on how we can get a refund, as we didn't sleep even a night. We were booked from the 11th - 15th December 2024. The picture are misleading as the place is completely different from what you see in the pictures. We will appreciate it if we can get our money back. The place...
