Erinvale Golf Club — Attraction in Cape Town Ward 84

We recently had breakfast at the Oak Terrace. We sat inside as it was quite a crisp Autumn morning which we didn’t mind as there was a lovely fire place going and it’s no fuss decor made up for it. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast on offer. Our three kids also managed to find something each of them liked. Phew! Letitia the manger on duty deserves a special mention as she really made sure we were filled to the brim - in a good way. Our waitress whose name we didn’t quite catch unfortunately, was so sweet and kind and engaging with our children.

I enjoyed a lovely spa treatment afterwards (it was Mother’s Day) in one of the treatment rooms - sadly their main spa is not open for use but good news is they are renovating and there will be plenty more things available including a gym and sauna/steam room. Renee my spa therapist really took care of me and I so enjoyed my Bella Bacci treatment (massage combined with silicone cups) was a first.

You will be hard-pressed to find a golf course in better shape than Erinvale! Recently had a world-class experience here and was left with a feeling that will keep me coming back for years.

The course is in a condition that could rival some overseas tournament courses, every single tee box perfectly cut and shaped, greens that were running like glass and bunkers raked to perfection. The newly renovated halfway house was a pleasurable experience and the free hot drink was a nice surprise. We were delighted to find our sand bags & towels soaked when we returned to our bags at the turn and were greeted warmly by 2-3 course marshals throughout our round.

A wonderful course undermined by poor service and arrogant course marshalls . We arrived early for our tee time and received no help with our bags, unlike all the other courses we had played at during our golf tour

. The marshalls paired us to make a four ball and advised us to keep up with the two ball in front . Despite keeping up with the pace, the marshalls refused us entry to the half way house . This was very poor behaviour and spoilt the day for us and...
