Unfortunately such a disappointment. Firstly, they falsely advertise their 3 course menu as a 7 course menu. We have been at some of the best fine dining restaurants in Cape Town and never have those restaurants included the bread, amuse-bouche, palette cleanser and petite fours as "courses" in the menu. So, you basically eat a 3 course meal with the portion sizes being that of a 7 course menu and smaller.
The main course was such a disappointment. The steak we were served was the smallest portion size I had ever seen in a fine-dining restaurant and the prawns dish consisted of a SINGLE prawn and NO other meat. Extremely small. This was the first time that I left a fine dining experience still feeling hungry.
The atmosphere was also disastrous. The music was a mix of house music and pop music. Not what you expect to hear when you pay so much for a meal and a 'fancy' evening out.
The staff were very friendly though and the food really tasted very good but definitely such a rip off and wouldn't recommend...
