Kings Beach — Attraction in Eastern Cape

King's Beach is perfect for tourists with a beautiful open stretch of sandy beach flanked by a blue flag status. Situated in Port Elizabeth a city known worldwide for its all-year-round best weather conditions. We do not experience extreme weather conditions thus never too cold or too hot but we are known as the "windy city" as we can easily experience all 4 seasons in one day. The old people used to say Port Elizabeth is like a baby then it's wet then it's dry then it's windy all in one day 🤣 but we very seldom if ever use very warm fur coats as a spencer under your outfit and a warm jersey over is usually the most you need on winter days. Pack in a light raincoat for just in case. Many hotels and B&Bs are found right across the stretch of beach and all kind of local amenities from restaurants to grocery stores and more. The boardwalk mall making it even easier for an inexpensive shopping experience for everything under one roof including a movie theater. Enjoy a stroll or jog along the walkway or the park which hosts a few pools with waterslides especially for young kids and even an obstacle course for cyclists or rollerblading. There's fitness equipment situated at different points along the stretch of beach too.

Beautiful stretch of beach, with plenty of swimming areas and there are many eateries within walking distance. Good beach for children and taking your dogs. Lovely at most times of the day but be aware when it's quieter, for your safety.

Littering is happening after lockdown was lifted. People are disrespectful, throwing their wine foil bags and plastic takeaway containers on the sand and in the sea, as well as breaking glass bottles on the rocks and sand. Please clean up after yourself and respect the environment for everyone's sake, to keep the beach safe and animal...
