Lovely sandy beach with a little sheltered cove to swim in. Also good to set off on a paddleboard from. Car parking is good and itโs a short walk down the stairs to the beach.
The reason for three rather five stars is because the local authorities do not keep the area as clean as it should be. Arriving early morning, there was rubbish strewn everywhere and municipal staff just sitting around waiting. No action. They only started clearing the bins and the beach once the beach warden turned up. Bathroom facilities are also very poor and the local authority can do much better to help improve this...

Its always been one of my favourite beaches as the bridge gives a great option of shaded areas to set up a beach camp for the day. The beach doesn't seem as stoney as I remember for a few years back.
