Beautiful park to take fur babies for their daily walks. Well fenced, safe and conveniently located. Park is well maintained, grass cut regularly, seasonal landscaping around the pond. The park has a big slope, flat grass area and beautiful trees creating diverse experiences for the puppies to play and socialise. At 5pm everyday, you will find many dogs and their parents at the park. Perfect place to get your dog socialised, exercise and spend the extra energy. Doesn't have rose's anymore, but the views of the beach are lovely. It is NOT a dog park anymore. Recent article shows that because dogs are left to run freely and mess isn't cleaned up by dog owners, they have banned it as a dog park completely without consulting with the community on what can be done to improve the situation. After years of it being a place where families and dog lovers joined together. Will not be going there again as the only reason to visit was the community with dogs. It appears non dog owners litter the park more than the dogs, dog owners and dog walkers. Sad used to be a beautiful rose park .When dogs and dog walkers were welcome the park had a sense of community and social upliftment for our pets and humanity.
