You start with a leisurely stroll around a spiral bridge, that, then takes you over the M1 freeway.
Hike or stroll at your own pace. According to my Steps App, I covered 7023 steps, in an hour and a half.
Awesome weather. Hot day. Lots of beautiful, tall trees, provided shade from the sun.
The park is clean. Lots of benches, to sit and catch your breath.
Their are toilets, but limited toilet paper and no soap, to wash your hands.

The views are amazing and there are bees and aloes everywhere you look. This nature reserve has been given a spectacular face lift and it shows. The two dimensional animal sculptures add a splash of colour and a quirky, modern feel. Hours fly by whilst walking on the various routes. Read moreCobble-stoned pathways which are fairly easy to walk, although uphill walks are a bit more strenuous. It will be difficult to impossible push a wheelchair or a baby cart along most of the pathways. Several artworks are hidden within the gardens, there are lots of park benches for seating and there are small mosaics. Entrance is free, you just write your name in the book.
