What an absolutely wonderful way to spend an afternoon wine tasting! And such a unique experience pairing the wines with iconic soundtracks! One of the founders, Kevin Swart, took us on a journey, sharing tales of how the names of their wines were chosen, how the concepts were created for the branding and design and how the tastes of each wine was developed. Then, while sipping on the wine, he plays a soundtrack that he believes symbolizes the essence of that particular wine. A. Their wines and MCCs are outstanding! B. If you buy wine, the cost of the wine tasting is deducted. C. The wine tasting portions are very generous... so order an uber. Bookings can be made online, and at the moment these experiences are only done on Saturdays at 11h00. We rolled out of there about 13h30.

Although established in 2012, I felt lucky to find this gem. One of the owners, Kevin welcomed everyone by sharing a fantastic story of how farm life made its way into his heart. The highlight of the day was the wine and music pairing. (Add this to your bucket list!) Each wine was introduced with a beautiful and unique backstory. Which was then paired with a specific song, encouraging a mindfully enjoyable experience. The Ultra brut MCC boasts notes and a lingering palate that would stand tall alongside the most serious champagne I left feeling a connection not only with this establishment, reminiscent of a home, but also with many of the patrons who arrived as strangers ended up spending the rest of the day as friends. Phenomenal experience, phenomenal wine.

Perfect; the Mrs. and I did the Wine and Music Pairing Experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone in heading to the winelands. This house produces in my opinion the best MCC in the country, without a shadow of doubt. The MCC that comes out of this house, is far superior to most champagne's that you'll find in your local bottle store. The venue is beautiful and intimate, and curated with art pieces from around the world. Kevin hosted us all amazingly, and created a great social experience that we'll remember for years to come. We will definitely be back.

Today was my 2nd visit. Having had such a fantastic first Vine and Vinyl experience with Kevin previously, I was thrilled to revisit for a friend's birthday. Jacques was our host today and the experience was just as wonderful but quite a contrast from the first. It was interesting to hear different explanations of the process from the vintner and alternative music pairings for each wine. All I can day is go..... Especially fun with a group of friends.
