Beautiful setting and it’s worth a visit, it’s very tourist oriented and one can certainly get the atmosphere of Southern Africa , the stalls are predominantly Handmade crafts . But BEWARE of prices as I experienced… I bought various items from different stalls and I would say that mostly you pay good value . BUT … there’s a jewellery stall “MIKY ROSE” she did not repeat the price of the two rings I was interested in buying and NO prices were displayed … I asked about the one ring and it’s properties ( gem or not gem ) she could not give me the information. I bought the rings as I had just purchased some silver gem rings from another stall and the were 640 Rands … as the card machine/pin card does not show the amount, I never thought they would be more , ONLY when I checked my balance once home to discover I paid 2000Rands for two very simple rings. There is lots of seating (with tables) and live entertainment.
Kids can also entertain themselves at the attached play park, though I would reccommend that parents keep an eye on them.
There are bathrooms, but you have to pay R2 to use them.
Ample parking is available and there is lots of shade to offer some protection...
