I recently had the pleasure of visiting Franchoek Station Pub, and it was a wonderful experience that brought back memories of home and the familiar local vibes. The pub's attention to detail and commitment to creating an authentic atmosphere truly impressed me.

Upon entering Franchoek Station Pub, I was immediately struck by its charming ambiance. The rustic decor, featuring exposed brick walls and vintage train station elements, created a unique and nostalgic setting. It was clear that they had put effort into preserving the heritage and character of the place, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal.

The staff at Franchoek Station Pub were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I received a warm welcome and was treated like a valued guest. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, ensuring that my dining choices suited my preferences.

Speaking of the menu, Franchoek Station Pub offers a diverse range of delicious options to cater to different tastes. Whether you're in the mood for classic pub fare or something more adventurous, you'll find a satisfying choice here. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and each dish was prepared with skill and attention to detail.

One aspect that impressed me about Franchoek Station Pub was their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients. This not only supports the community but also guarantees fresh and high-quality food. It was a pleasure to savor the flavors of the valley in each bite, knowing that the ingredients came from nearby farms and suppliers.

In addition to the fantastic food, Franchoek Station Pub offers an impressive selection of beverages. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or a wine lover, you'll find a wide range of options to suit your taste. The pub boasts a well-curated list of local craft beers, showcasing the brewing traditions of the area. The wine selection is equally impressive, featuring a diverse array of varietals that perfectly complement the menu.

The atmosphere at Franchoek Station Pub is vibrant yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for both intimate gatherings and lively get-togethers with friends. The pub often hosts live music events, adding to the already enjoyable experience. The combination of good food, great drinks, and live entertainment creates a lively and convivial ambiance that keeps patrons coming back for more.

Overall, Franchoek Station Pub is a gem that reminds you of home with its warm ambiance and familiar local vibes. With its friendly staff, delicious cuisine, and wide selection of beverages, it offers an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this pub is a must-visit destination. I highly recommend checking out their website to learn more about the pub and read other reviews to get a comprehensive understanding of the consistently positive feedback from patrons. Franchoek Station Pub is truly a place where you can relax, enjoy good company, and indulge in the flavors...

I have never been to Station Pub before, ended up there on a bit of a whim. Sat next to a table where the one patron was talking excessively loudly to the people she was with; ended up moving as it was unbearable. I wanted to get something which involved spinach and butternut as a side, and was then told by the waiter that she "isn't sure they have vegetables". It's a Friday evening in December, surely you must be prepped for this? So I ended up getting just a plain beef burger, which cost R145. The food that I received was absolutely not value for money, more like what I would pay for a R90 burger. I have paid R145 for a burger at restaurant and got much better quality. The salad was a measly few leaves, small bit of feta and a drizzle of salad dressing. The burger was literally the bun, a bit of leaves and the patty. This was accompanied by some chips. I think it's horrendous that they want to charge R145 for that - they probably paid R30 at most to make it. When I politely brought this up with the manager, and explained I really think this not the value for money, he said he would talk to the owner. Owners response: that's our prices and that's how it is. Very unimpressed, I will certainly never go back there. The others around my table had pizza and those prices seemed to match the quality of the food, so if you ever go, get a pizza and not a burger, it's not worth it. Also, ordered a bottle of wine which was out of stock, but got a different one. Once the bill came, both wines were on the bill, so had to ask the waiter to rectify it, after which she took ages to come back so we could pay. So overall just poor service, bad value, and bad attitude...

Received absolutely horrible service yesterday. We were seated at a table that was dirty & very sticky. We then moved to a table right in front of where the band was performing. We sat for nearly 20 minutes and no on came to get our drinks order. Also when the band wasn't performing the music was extremely loud. Especially since we were seated in front of the speakers. I stood up and asked the waitress if the background music can be turned slightly lower since no one is performing & we can't hear anyone talking. Her reply is No, the music is always like that?! I understand when someone is performing that music needs to be loud. But when they just playing instrumentals in the background why does it need to blaring loud?! To be quite honest this waitress has absolute no etiquette with regards to working customers. I understand its a pub, but expected some level of customer service, but received none... Also it seems there is a resident dog that kept jumping against friends leg and was scratching her. When we told this same waitress about it, she just shrugged it off. I understand it's a dig friendly environment, but why are dogs off of their leashes. Our dog came along & was on leash not being an inconvenience to anyone. We then decided to get up and leave and that created an even bigger altercation... Let's say we went down the road to Hey Joe & received the most loveliest service & amazing food... Rather visit Hey Joe instead of Station...

This pub has been converted from the old Franschoek railway station into a lovely restaurant inside filled with old memorabilia of its past history. The bar has been built into the rear of the building and seating is outside underneath a large canopy to protect you from the weather rain or shine. When it's hot they have a cold water mist cooling the air, a great outdoor air con. The original train track still runs through what is now the garden area where there is a play area for the kids to enjoy and at the time a bouncy castle as well. We did not eat here as just having a drink but after looking at the menu saw a wonderful varied choice that looked great. The Station has a great selection of beers and wines and the staff were all excellent. Thoroughly recommend a visit if your in Franschoek.

We had the pleasure of doing the beer and biltong platter tasting at the Franschhoek Station Pub and Craft Bar, and it was a fantastic experience. The platter offered a great selection of biltong paired with perfectly matched craft beers, making for a delicious and satisfying tasting session. Set in the historic Franschhoek station, the pub provides a welcoming atmosphere with friendly locals, a large craft beer selection, and ample seating. The live band playing golden oldies added to the lively vibe, and the beach-inspired section was a fun touch. Families will enjoy the large kiddies' play area, and our waitress, Celest, was exceptional, offering insightful menu recommendations and enhancing our overall visit.
