Myself and my partner really fancied a curry and decided to pop over to Blue Coriander for a meal. We sat down and ordered some beers and then some starters. I had the chicken samoosas which I really enjoyed and my partner had the lamb kebabs and this was also good, nice and tender. The starters however, took ages to arrive from when we sat down and a table of 5 or six walked in after us but got their food before us. Didn't bother us at all, but was noted. The main course was where things took a turn. I had chicken masala and my partner the lamb Rogan Josh. My chicken was tender, but there was some sort of burnt taste to my sauce. Not at all like a curry when I ate it which was a real shame. My partner really didn't like his dish, the Lamb Rogan Josh, which he sent back and complained about. The chef came out and apologised, but this was a real shame as the starters were so good. The main event was really disappointing and the garlic cheese naan was way too oily to be enjoyed. This meal, that was hardly touched/eaten, was still charged for and on our bill. We just paid for it and let it be. This place can be really good, but unfortunately we were let down by the slow service and the not so good...

Read moreSadly this was a very bad experience. We went here for dinner and sat down at 19:10. We got our food by 21:30. That's more than two hours of waiting for a basic rice dish. The place didn't seem too busy either. To be honest we only waited this long as there were no other options open at that point so this was our only hope to still get some dinner. When we got our food we didn't get the Naan we ordered and one of our dishes was switched for another dish. Also the onions were burnt and the taste in general was not great. We didn't come with expectations of anything fancy. Actually we specifically looked for a lowkey restaurant as all the other restaurants in town are a bit too fancy for us. But this sadly didn't match our expectations. I feel like small changes could make this place a great simple restaurant. The main point to work on is definitely efficiency in the kitchen though. I hope this was a singular experience and the team works on...
