Handley Blue Line Park Review (Busan)
Handley Blue Line Park in Busan offers a captivating blend of urban and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Located along the scenic coastline, this park features a series of well-maintained walking paths that stretch across beautiful landscapes, offering stunning views of the ocean and surrounding cityscape.
One of the park's highlights is the impressive Blue Line Rail, which runs along the park and provides a unique way to explore its scenic routes. Visitors can ride the rail, which offers panoramic views of the coastline, or enjoy leisurely walks on the trails that wind through lush greenery and along the water.
The park is also home to several modern amenities, including picnic areas, resting spots, and playgrounds for children, making it an excellent choice for families. The well-kept environment and peaceful atmosphere provide an ideal escape from the busy city life.
Moreover, the park is easily accessible, with convenient transportation options, including the nearby subway and bus stops. This makes it an ideal location for a relaxing afternoon or a short getaway.

Make reservations in advance - online ticketing open ~2 weeks before boarding date. Need a Korean credit card though.
Ticketing in person - go early before it opens. I was there ~1 hour before it opening and there’s already a line. Tickets sell out fast
Figure out ur transport - if you do one way capsule (35k KRW) say from Mipo, you would need some kind of transport back to Mipo. 3 options - train, taxi, walk. Train is like 7000krw. The hike back is currently not a coastal walk, it’s actually quite a real 2km hike since there’s a huge detour due to the skywalk construction. Parking of SUVs is also an issue around the Mipo area, less of an issue on the Cheongsapo. (I left my car at Cheongsapo, hiked over to Mipo, and paid ~4000 KRW for parking)
Before the ride - one of the most disorganized and unstructured tourist attraction I have seen. when you show up at your designated time, you still had to wait for ~30 mins before boarding a sky capsule
Enjoy the ride! - 5 mins into the 30 mins ride, I was like wow why am I paying 35,000 KRW for this LOL. But ya enjoy the views early on because 5 mins in.. there’s only ocean and costal views and also a bunch of skywalk construction views
all in all it’s probably worth one ride to check your busan lists or to make your “top 10 things to...
