Due to the staff's failure to wipe the floors, the locker room was left wet. I slipped, fell badly, and hit my head on one of the locker locks, injuring my hand as well. I sat there in a lot of pain, crying, while people just looked on without helping. Finally, a European woman helped me and took me to the facility's medical center. With soreness and swelling in my head, I was given an ice pack and laid down.
Eventually, they found my sister, who helped with communication. Due to the pain and dizziness, I couldn't speak properly. We asked for an incident report and stayed to observe my symptoms. Fortunately, all symptoms except for a headache and dizziness went away. We decided to head back to the hotel. At the front desk, we asked for the incident report and received an incomplete version that was missing a stamp. They promised to send it via Instagram the day after, as the nurse had gone home for the day, we were there on 16.06.2024.
We asked for a refund, bcz we have bought the entire day and all including, but hardly been there for 1h, and they assured us that the fee had been canceled and I would receive the money in a few days. We left Busan the next day. During our next ten days in Seoul, I kept calling Club D to ask for the complete incident report, which I never received. It was impossible to contact them through any communication channel, even with the hotel front desk calling on my behalf every day without any luck. The hotel staff found it very odd too.
Now, about a month has passed since the accident, and I'm back in Europe, I still haven't received the incident report or my money back. It was the worst experience ever, and I am very disappointed with the whole situation. If you plan to visit this club, buy a pair of swimming shoes and wear them regardless of the policy. It is very...
Read moreIf I could rate it 0 stars, I would. This place was such a disappointment in every way. Crazy overpriced, even before factoring in the low tier entertainment available. Admission is high AF, for adults and children alike, and you’re only told the complete rules after purchasing admission, which informs you of the several more purchases you’ll be forced to make at ridiculous rates. The floors, steps, and pool edges are all quite slippery, which led to every member of my family slipping and falling, several times. It was initially cold and windy upon our arrival, no hot water attractions at all. The lifeguards (rule enforcers) pick and choose who they blow the whistles on to enforce rules (swim caps, life vests, etc.). The food options are very limited and more like snack items and not any actual meal options. Club D Oasis nickel and dime’s their customers so bad, I was surprised there wasn’t a charge to breathe in the air, you can’t even sit in a chair without having to pay to reserve it, no joke! My children had a far better time playing at the FREE fountain splash pads outside the mall that Club D is in, than the “Oasis” ripoff. As a westerner, I wouldn’t pay more than a few dollars for this level of aquatic “fun”, and even after living in an East Asian country for a few years, I’m still not even remotely impressed and would never...
Read moreAs a foreigner/tourist, I really do not recommend this place. There is very little information available in English, which led us to feel almost scammed, and we ended up leaving the water park shortly after arriving.
Not only do you have to pay for entry, but you also have to pay for a seat - and you get scolded if you sit outside, as you're not allowed to choose where you want to sit. We were not aware or informed about this, but specifically asked to sit outside when paying the fee. For a water park, you're also not allowed to swim in any of the pools without paying extra for a life vest, shoes, and a cap. There is almost no information about this in advance.
We were polite and willing to pay and adjust to their policies, but were only met with scolding and new issues every step of the way.
Not a pleasant or relaxing experience at all. Left within an hour.
However, I do want to thank the one friendly staff member who at least refunded us for the seat we weren’t...
