Food: Came for the pancake so we ordered the seafood and green onion pancake. Saw a promo pic of the flatfish sashimi and ordered it too. Both exceeded our expectations. Pancake was golden brown and crispy on the outside, and umami/fluffy/crunchy on the inside. Fluffy from the flour and crunchy from the octopus. (I’ve asked for it to be crispy and less oily and the chef has done exactly that!) Flatfish sashimi was oh so fresh and crunchy it’s amazing!
Service: Good and efficient service; very pleasant with a sweet smile.
Ambience: We went for lunch and was seated upstairs as it’s full downstairs. So we had a nice quiet meal with the whole floor to ourselves.
Happy to return to try the rest...
Read moreLoved it here! Great local Korean food with their own home made makgeolli! A Korean Rice wine that is really hard to find home made! They have different flavors but the home made original is in my opinion the best!
We enjoyed some pork belly lettuce wrapped amazingness along with jeon platter with different variations of meat vegetable and fish all of which were delightful!
The service is speedy and the crowd very trendy! It was winter when we got to enjoy the restaurant so we sat inside! When I'm back in a warmer season they have lovely outdoor seating that I'd like to enjoy my food at.
I definitely recommend it if you're...
Read moreVery reasonably priced establishment (especially given its location) with excellent food and a good variety of makgeolli. They have their own house makgeolli which is very good - on the sweeter side with very little sourness. We got that with a nice garlic chive pancake. We then followed it up with a sampler of makgeolli (chestnut, pine nut, the house one and one from Slow Village) and yukgyejang with noodles. The food was delicious and we especially liked the pine nut makgeolli.
If you're going there - check the catchtable app. You can do it both with a domestic telephone number...
