One of my favorite markets to visit in all of Korea. This market has a small stream running through it that doubles as a walking path park. It is also next to the Suwon Fortress. So, it has the famous Suwon Chicken Street next to it. There are some great small restaurants and Korean style drinking places around and in the market. Great old school market with everything from fabric to pigs heads! Very friendly place. I ate soondae guk bap in 'sausage town' qnd it was very nice with fantastic service and friendly customers. I got there early. It seems to open up about 9am so i ate first. Cheap price for clothing and walking distance to the palace and traditional walking street.
