Firstly, my wife and l have been eating sushi / asian-Japanese food on a weekly basis for YEARS. (Suggest reading whole post) We come from Switzerland but we eat sushi / Asian-Japanese food in every country we go to. Mention to the homemade water bottle, very fancy but still the taste is worse than my country’s tap water.
Service was super fine but it’s slow. Getting a coke from the fridge took about 6min. (Only 2 tables were full, including us)
Starting with the entrees; pretty basic but fine. (see, I can still say positive things) Only issue was the sugary soja sauce they put on the fried shrimps, but still it’s fine. Mayo-wasabi was really good A+.
Now for the sushis; can only judge what we tasted. Fried shrimps sushi and salmon sushi.
Honorable mention; the usual soja sauce they give you with the sushi is sugary/sweet, I had to ask for the salted version. Shoutout to the lady for getting us one.
Fried shrimps, pretty basic but fine, the thing you taste the most is rice.
Salmon sushi; this is the worst salmon sushi we’ve had in our whole lives, I’m sorry I don’t know how to put this sentence differently. Salmon still has silvery skin on it, the thing you taste the most once again, is rice. Honorable mention to the avocados for being fresh A+.
I understand sushi might not be the same all over the world but Asian-Japanese cooking has to have a certain level of standard at any given time.
We cannot say anything about the rest of the menu because that would be dishonest and untrue.
Bill was 44€ but still left them 50€.

Read moreA true gem! Authentic yummy Japanese food in a small comfy place with excellent cook and very friendly and knowledgeable service. I had the daily lunch menu with a starter and main. What I got for the ~10 Euro I paid was culinary heaven. In addition, I also had a great natural orange wine (the lady is a sommelier, knows about good wine, and has wine from local small producers) and a dessert (tasty lemon cake with coffee). Each new dish was a culinary experience. All in a simple yet comfy setting. And very affordable. I will certainly be back. Highly...
Read moreThe food was amazing! I was amazed by the service - how fast the food was made and served with proper order, and how nice the lady was.
Normally, if you take a second dish and it tastes so good, it should at least make the first one slightly worse. Not here. Each one was more and more delicious, although the one before was like a dream come true. We took sushi, fried chicken with rice, miso soup, and for dessert: mochi and green tea tiramisu.
Take a look at the pictures !
