Poblenou Central Park — Attraction in Barcelona

i really don't understand where all the photos of this park are getting their photos from because when i went it was reminiscent of the midwest in that there was no grass and so much dust i almost got out a face mask. jesus christ there was nothing there except for what looked like an abandoned football museum? also the chairs were weird. HOWEVER i give it 5 stars because i had a bad day when i went here and i sat down on one of those weird metal chairs that looked like a cage because it was too dusty to sit on the ground anyways i sat there and peoplewatched and recorded a literal 20 minute long video talking about my feelings as if i was in therapy or something and it made me feel so much better and now i attribute my mental health breakthrough...

It is a great park with nice trees, plants and whatnot. Unfortunately while using the portable bathroom, which i had to pay 50 cents to use, the park closed and i was unable to exit as all the doors were locked. I called the adjuntament and police but it took over an hour for an employee to arrive and let me out. If i had diabetes i could have died... Furthermore the employee denied the existence of a bathroom in the park, which further deteriorated my already poor mental state. For these reasons i can only rate the...

Un pequeño oasis natural para aislarse un poco de la ciudad, ubicada en el barrio de poblenou. Se compone de varios parques, separados por las calles que cruzan entre ellos, cada uno cuenta con varios accesos, pudiéndose acceder desde la calle Bac de Roda, Espronceda, Pere IV, o la avenida diagonal. Lleno de sauces llorones, enredaderas. Cuentan con algunas pistas perimetrales que permiten hacer footing razonablemente, si deseas evitar el tráfico y los semáforos, aunque sería mejor que el pavimento fuera continuo, y no con esa especie de baldosas de cemento con espacio entre ellas. Se puede practicar baloncesto, Ping Pong (aunque al ser a cielo abierto el viento molesta bastante), hay un parque infantil, se puede hacer un picnic en medio de la ciudad rodeado de verde. La verdad a mí me hubiera gustado más otro tipo de paisajismo más exhuberante, y hay algunas cosas que tienen poco sentido, como un infame pozo que al comienzo tenía unas fotografías de Ecuador (!!!???)y que ahora está semi abandonado. En su momento el diseño generó polémica por la falta de zonas de ocio y descanso, por lo que fue modificado parcialmente. En suma, aunque creo que el diseño paisajista era mejorable, no deja de ser un lugar agradable para acercarse si vives por la zona. Desconozco las dimensiones exactas, pero creo que sumando todos los parques que lo componen, el recinto debe tener unas cinco hectáreas aproximadamente... Siempre es de agradecer un poco de verde para el esparcimiento en una ciudad cada vez más agobiante...
