Prison Experience Barcelona — Attraction in Barcelona

My friends and I came to Prison Experience to celebrate one of our friends birthday. And let me just tell you we were not let down. From the moment we rang the bell, the experience had started, we were ‘warmly’ greeted by the guards for arriving 25 minutes early. Do not ring the doorbell too early or you’ll wake up Rodrigues from his nap. The incredible staff absolutely love their jobs and are also very in character. So be aware of that for any sensitive people in your group, nothing is personal they’re playing the part, and in all honesty (they’re the sweetest.). We had two people in our group that were intimidated by our guard friends but as soon as we started working on ways to get out they had calmed down.

Right from the beginning they exchange our things for an orange jumpsuit and take our mug shot (you can find the photos on their Facebook!)The puzzles were really interesting and not overly complicated. You felt really satisfied after figuring out each puzzle! As usual you have to think out of the box. We went through several rooms and the attention to detail was amazing! I’ve been to several escape rooms across the US and Europe and this one by far was my favorite experience. We all enjoyed our time and kept on talking about the experience all night long. Even days later we’re still talking about it.

We’re all definitely coming back. There’s no doubt in our minds! We adored all the staff, it was funny to see them at the end of the game just be their natural selves and you can feel the love and joy they have for this experience. They have 3 different games. So no worries after your first experience you can come back for a crazier one. They all speak English very well. So no worries about the language barrier!

So don’t walk to the Prison Experience...RUN! I highly recommend this...

I enjoyed the experience to solve riddles, crack codes and escape through tunnels with my team, it was a lot of fun. The place was designed very authentic and the props were convincing. You move through many rooms and each one has new and different challenges you must solve together.

My single issue was with the introduction of the staff: even though it was obviously played and part of the game, they screamed at and humiliated all of us verbally without initial warning right from the start, and I found this rather disturbing than entertaining. No physical contact was made though, you were never pushed or even touched. After the successful escape they greeted us very friendly and took pictures of us.

So be prepared to get the full prison experience with the staff playing angry aggressive guards and get paranoid about being caught in the act. A lot of fun, except for the overly harsh...

Recently, my friends and I visited an escape room and were absolutely impressed by its quality and intrigue. The game was meticulously designed, from the location and puzzles to the actors.

First and foremost, I want to highlight the actors who greet participants at the door, creating a unique adventure atmosphere from the very beginning. The performers play their roles at the highest level, and we had friends who, not knowing it was a game, didn't immediately realize they were actors. Throughout the game, they actively participate in your adventure, creating incredible emotions.

The locations are diverse, the puzzles are interesting and original, which brings great pleasure. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return to complete the remaining two rooms.
