Platillo Volador — Restaurant in Barcelona

We visited Platillo Volador multiple times during our stay in Barcelona and the time we spent there was wonderful. Even though there were no open seats, the staff were extremely kind, and after a brief wait, the waiter was able to find a table for us. They were friendly and often checked to make sure we had all we needed. Along with the vermouth, the vegan alternatives were fantastic and delicious.

This place is spectacular! We were tired and hungry after exploring Barcelona all day. On our way back to the hotel, we decide to google it a few options for us to get something local and good . We’re so glad we found this place ! Alex our server was THE BEST! He just not only changed my our crunky/hungry bad mood but was our quick but turns into a very local and pleasant experience. Amazing restaurant!!

Food is absolutely delicious - they do really nice and interesting tapas with a twist. I’d recommend their croquetas and the torrezno. My absolute favourite thing on the menu is their cañas with maracuya - you’ll be thinking about them for weeks to come!!!

The restaurant is really small so I would recommend coming early to get your spot, they are really accommodating and try their best to get you a table but it is always busy - deserved!!
