A really great water park in Benidorm which caters for all ages. The park is built on a hillside and set among pine trees and an amazing view of Benidorm below from some places in the park. It is quite hilly and there's a lot of walking involved but lots of shaded areas including when queuing. There are slides and rides to cater for all ages (and adrenaline level!) and most of them have a 1.25m height limit apart from the red Vertigo slide which I believe is 1.4m. My son is 7 and he went on most of the rides barring the extreme ones. There are ample places to eat dotted around the park serving sandwiches, burgers and pizza plus a BBQ and self service type restaurant in the centre. The food isn't the best (and not the best value) but it's what you'd expect from a place like this and the pizzas were OK. There's lots of covered picnic benches too to eat your own food but these got "reserved" early so get in quick and dump your bags. We visited in late August and the place was busy with queues for all the rides but the wait times were manageable between 10-30 minutes. The more family oriented rides had bigger wait times while the extreme slides had little to no wait when we were there. My advice would be to arrive as early as possible as the queues early on were small, the park opens at 10am. My sons favourite ride was the rapids and it's possible to hire your own rubber ring which gives you fast track to the rapids plus the use of the ring in the pools. The cost is €8 for the day plus €2 returnable deposit and for us it was worth it as we spent the entire afternoon on the rapids. They are quite heavy and bulky though and you have to carry them up quite a big hill for each turn! There are some pools for younger kids too and toddlers plus various small slides, jumping platforms and even a zip wire. There's plenty of lifeguards on duty and they seemed on the ball. My son got his height checked several times throughout the day as he is only just 1.25m tall. They take cash or card at all the shops/food outlets and also offer a cashless wristband system to save having to carry cash/cards. Sun beds are €5 each and there are lockers available starting at €5 for standard and rising for larger ones and ones with USB charging. We managed to spend a full day here and didn't leave until gone 7pm. Parking is free and plentiful. Highly recommended and we will return when we are next in the area.

Actually can’t believe the amount of negative reviews stating some pretty obvious comments! Been going to this water park for 30 years and yesterday I returned with my children! It is the best! So much fun for all, parking is free which if you’re from the UK you know is a bonus. Buy your tickets online at least a day before you arrive - it’s cheaper and you don’t have to queue, you just get your bar code scanned. Lockers are 9euros for a large one - we got one but to be honest didn’t overly need it just for the car key! Sun loungers you pay for just like you do at the beach, however you don’t need them unless you want to sit at the front of a younger kids pool. So many other free areas to sit and shaded. We took a picnic best idea although we still brought a beer . Food is priced as you’d expect. If you want to secure a base for your towels etc do this as soon as you’re in as the tables tend to get taken! Look at the rides and work out what you really want to do and head their first - the Cyclone queue does reach 90minutes - we went their first, you have to have 4 people so might need to buddy up with strangers - it also has a minimum and max weight limit - they weigh your team and if it’s not right you can’t go - we were too light but luckily we swapped a person from the group behind us as they were too heavy! Such a great ride! We did everything more than once and this is in the height of summer! You can rent a ring now for the lazy river which I did think was a bit of a rip off at first but then I realised that you also have express access to the rapids! You just roll your ring right past the queue and up the hill so actually really worth it! The water is salt water but it is nowhere near as harsh as the sea in my opinion, we took a small hand towel and left it at the bottom of rides with our shoes each time to dry eyes if needed but it was no big deal and I hate the sea water! A lot of rides you can wear goggles as long as they are secure so if your worries about salty eyes take some Google’s! Floor does get hot from 12 onwards as to be expected but you can also put your sliders on your hands etc which lots of people did. Check your weather forecast before booking. We picked quite a cloudy day which was fab for not stressing about the kids getting burnt! Best day out don’t let the negatives out you off ! Xx

This water park is really bad. Tourist trap, and the worst staff who all look like teenagers < 18. My experience was just horrible, but hey, go check for yourself and regret later. Overcrowded with as much as 1h wait in attractions just to then maybe be able to use it once. I took my son who is 6 and the worst attraction we tried and didn't use despite 30min queueing is called "Pistas blandas" My son can swim, but he has more ease to stay aflot with arm bands. We've waited 30min just to be told he can't use the attraction because he can't swim. Ridiculous. The girl, looking like she's 16 and upset with life, claimed he can't swim. My question is: How does she know? "Oh, because he has that on his arms so he can't swim so he can't use the attraction!" She then made us go back down via the stairs we came up, which was nearly impossible when considering the queue. Not only that but she lied with all her teeth. I asked her if there's any signs showing inflatable arm bands aren't allowed, and she said "of course there are!" but it's a lie because there are none. I obviously would have taken those from my son's arms had I seen such sign and advise him accordingly on what to do when getting to the bottom of the attraction, which is a huge vertical 40° slide. I attached the photo showing what is and what isn't allowed to prove she was lying. That's one... Then, we went at 5pm to a café and they had another 16Y old, or at least looking like, girl serving. The queue had at least 40 people, there were 3 tills and she was alone. They had already turned off anything food related with 2-3h until park closure time. At some point, after 20min wait, 2 other teenager workers of Aqualandia seemed to be going home and stopped by this café just to start talking with the girl at the till and she was a good 2 full minutes ignoring the queue and laughing with them. Wow... Before this episode, we went to a place up high in the park, with "Jacuzzis" absolutely overcrowded, like insane. The water? - Disgusting. Dark yellow foam. I let you imagine what can that be. We've rushed out after seeing that. Go check for yourself if you really want to regret later. Better beach, or pool that many "complejos" and hotels have. Go to the rincón de loix and look for Cala del Ti Ximo. That's some proper place to enjoy an afternoon, free, clean, beautiful. Aqualandia is the ultimate tourist trap. Never going back. Disgusting staff, environment, and cleaning? - Maybe they change the bins at best. By the way, I've visited on a Tuesday so imagine the weekend... Edit after Aqualandia's reply: if that's all you guys have to say you just confirm this place is a tourist trap trying to make as much money as possible before end of season.

40-70 minutes of waiting. Everywhere. This place is nice but TOTALLY overcrowded. If you are coming for 7 hours and within 7 hours you will do 6-7 rides - does it make sense to go? When you will see queue, usually it is just first one, as often there is second one later. I was reading an many reviews about those crowds, but it was beyond my imagination. UPDATE - heard from local friend, that August is worst, other months it is a bit better. It is as well disorganized. We came around 13.00 and there were no storage lockers already. Thanks to great luck we received one locker and first surprise - lockers are in different place than changing rooms. You need to go quite far to lockers, so i suggest to change first. Who was designing that? Then after we changed, another surprise - locker prints (!!) a 6 digits code you need to your locker. It is printed on paper (!!!!) so or you will memorize it or - you have to stick to your paper. In water;) good luck. Third thing is that when opening your lock you type your pin in a way that only blind person that is around will not see it. :( in my opinion it is worst. So you should avoid taking any expensive stuff you will not need. Instead wallet take just one card as way how you type in the code makes you easy prey for thief. Foood - trash food, and 40 minutes of waiting in short queue. Big advantage - large parking. Buying tickets online might save you time as well. Generally, because of that waiting and waiting and more waiting - i do not recommend it, unless you have plenty if time and can have fun together in queue, as thats the place you will spend your day. I dont like as well fact you have to protect head on most of slides. Thats new for me, havent seen such requirement in othercwateroarks in other countries. When i asked lifeguard for that- he said that without holding your arms to protect head you can easily get hurt.

When we get there, there's a lot of people even it's weekdays which makes the place so fun. There is ample parking space. At the parking entrance, there is a staff member who can guide you where to park and show you the main entrance. Despite the number of people paying tickets, it's not a problem because they have 5-6 entrance gates that you can choose to queue at. If you have a family member or friend who is disabled or autistic, they can provide you with a wristband for identification that prevents or except you from queueing. There are lots of lockers.. but be sure to bring some cash in case the machine won't work using the card. Additionally, there are restaurants inside that you can choose from. They have a lot of slides to offer so far. To inform you, the water is salty. It's not fresh water, it's from the ocean that's why they have a fresh water shower in every slide or area. Many trash can/ garbage can or bin everywhere, so it's not a problem to find where the trash can is. A Jacuzzi is also available, along with a mini cave and falls. In addition, they have a beach-like area with a fake wave, which is entertaining. The water is clear. Each area has staff or lifeguards available. Rental of chairs and tables is available, just like at a normal beach site. Overall, this place is fantastic and we have a lot of slides, swim, and fun. 😁
