We noticed this restaurant on the day of our arrival and thought it looked lovely and well presented. We didn't go in until day 3 of our stay. We are staying at Melia hotel which is less than 5 minutes from the restaurant and wanted to stay local. When we arrived we were the only customers which did make us wonder why? We had the poppadoms, onion bhagis, chicken tikka as our starters, a chicken tikka masala and a lamb madras with pilau rice and garlic naan for main and cheesecake for dessert along with a soft drink We chose from the set menu at 19.95 euro per person. The menu has a good variety for the price. Service was impeccable, very polite and food came out at great speed. We did arrive at 11.30pm. As we were sat there other people were arriving and their food was also coming out at good speed too, I noticed the great connection between staff and customer, from those in restaurant and those that worked on the kebab part of the restaurant leading onto the front next door. The menu not only serves lovely Indian food but also what you would be able to order from the kebab shop too Inc burgers, pizza etc. I don't tend to do reviews but think as this place is away from the strip it's nice to be able to help give credit where credit is due and hopefully get others to take...
Read moreMe and the missus wanted to try somewhere different whilst on holiday in Benidorm new town and stumbled across this nice little curry house and we both decided on the menu of the day which you can pick from array of items from a set menu for €19.95 and we tried the onion bharji and the fish pokora for starters and for mains we went with chicken tikka masala and a tandori tikka with sauce for mains with pilau rice and a garlic naan with a ice cream each for dessert and overall I can not complain about the standards of food, the table service was spot on and atmosphere for this restaurant you had quiet background music on which was soothing whilst you waited in between courses. If I do return to Benidorm you will be due a...
Read moreThe Kohinoor restaurant is very quiet. I had lunch here with my husband and had dinner twice. We were well helped and the staff were nice. We had to wait quite a long time for the food, and the food was very fat and stuck to my teeth a lot. The aftertaste is also something you don't want to spend the rest of the day with. We also ordered milkshakes that were too sweet, but still delicious. So all in all, if you just want to have something small for lunch, you can. For dinner i wouldn't...
