A nice zoo. Wonderful for young kids, nice variety of animals and enjoyable outing. Giraffes, flamingos, zebras, tigers, peacocks, and lots more. Definitely bring extra water for the hot Cordobán sun!
I was very skeptical after reading the reviews, and I read news coverage from multiple sources regarding the tragedy of the elephant. (It truly was tragic) Since that time, the zoo has changed its name to a Conservation Center, and it is not clear how that impacts the animals. To me the animals appeared mostly well-cared for. Animals are very lively and seems happy, well groomed, and interactive. The enclosures are not very well made but the animals seems very fine with it. Not a single animal seemed depressed like most animals in many zoo’s and peacocks are everywhere, literally everywhere. The botanical garden across from it is also very nice, and there are vending machines there, so be sure to...

The jaguar is expressing clear signs of zoochosis by walking circles and making the same repeatitive head movements
This is a torture chamber for animals. I deeply regret sponsoring it with buying the entrance ticket and urge you not to make the...
