The Wind Comb XV , called Haizearen orrazia in Basque and known simply as the Wind Comb , is a set of sculptures by Eduardo Chillida on an architectural work by the Basque architect Luis Peña Ganchegui .It is located at the end of Ondarreta beach , in the municipality of San Sebastián , in the province of Guipúzcoa , in the Basque Country . It is made up of three steel sculptures , each weighing 10 tons, embedded in rocks overlooking the Cantabrian Sea , whose waves lash them. Chillida continued working on the Peine del Viento series , which coincides in formal aspect with his collection of steles, and particularly, with those dedicated to Pablo Picasso , Salvador Allende and Pablo Neruda. Read moreIt was definitely one of our favorite places to see. This is, of course, a must-see! The man at the home we were staying at told us that this was also one of their most important attractions. There is a cafe/restaurant near by, if you want a quick bite or just to relax and enjoy a meal. I have not eaten at this restaurant. From this angle you can also see the la concha beach from a different view, which was also beautiful. The waves of the ocean crashes against the rocks and makes it really nice to even just sit there for a while and enjoy the view. I recommend going in hightide, as there are some holes in the ground in which the oceans hard pressure waves...
