Read moreAwful! I only take a day trip to San Sebastián. This is my planned 1st stop, due to it’s stunning views. The Funicular got a long queue of maybe 200 people. So I decided to walk up. After 15 minutes, find that the road is closed, completely blocked. Checked in google & possibly it had been closed for 5 years. Some comments mention that the local community doesn’t want outsiders to walk pass their land. Why didn’t they post signage that it’s impossible to walk up? I would not mind paying high entrance fee, but I don’t like that my Freedom to access public places...
