Súper recomendado. Hemos estado 4 noches y ha sido una estancia muy agradable. SERVICIO: Es lo más destacable. Todo el personal es súper amable y servicial. Es un hotel familiar y se nota, te hacen sentir como en casa. Yo personalmente hice una petición muy demandante, ya que uso una medicación que requiere permanecer en frío, y en principio me ofrecieron guardarla en la nevera de la cocina, ya que hay siempre hay alguien en recepción que me la puede dar cuando la necesite (lo cual me pareció bien), pero me llevé una gran sorpresa cuando entré en la habitación y vi que me habían puesto una pequeña nevera! Realmente se me toman muy en serio el bienestar del cliente y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en todo. El primer día nos dieron mapas de la zona y una guía turística y nos explicaron lo que podíamos visitar y las opciones de bus, que por cierto, hay una parada justo en la puerta del hotel (tanto de ida como de vuelta). HOTEL Y HABITACIÓN: Es de 2 estrellas pero, según yo, parece de más. Es un edificio antiguo de madera con muebles antiguos, pero eso lo hace más acogedor y está todo muy bien cuidado y limpio. La decoración me pareció curiosa, tiene mucha personalidad el hotel. El agua de la ducha tiene buena potencia y el secador de pelo también. COMEDOR Y DESAYUNO: Las vistas del comedor son preciosas! El desayuno es, a mi gusto, variado y suficiente: bizcochos caseros muy buenos, croissants, yogures, fruta, cereales, tostadas, embutido... No ofrecen comidas ni cenas, pero tienen el comedor abierto desde el mediodía hasta la cena para que puedas tomar ahí tu comida (hay un microondas) o servirte un té/café/infusión (hay gran variedad de tés e infusiones). UBICACIÓN: Está en pleno monte Igeldo, y el tramo de carretera para acceder a él es inclinado y con curvas pero está en buen estado, bien iluminado y con una acera peatonal en el lateral, por lo que se puede subir andando (unos 15 minutos). Si vas en coche, hay un parking en el hotel al aire libre con plazas anchas. Si no, también puedes subir y bajar en bus (número 16, pasa cada media hora). Para subir a la parte más alta del monte apenas hay que andar unos 5 minutos, ahí se encuentra el funicular y un pequeño parque de atracciones (también se puede acceder en coche y es fácil aparcar).

I can highly recommend Leku Eder hotel. We booked for one night only, but stayed for 3! It is so lovely here. We have a stunning view from our room and balcony where we can see and hear the calming sounds of the oceans and the birds. The personal are very professional and kind and show great hospitality that makes us feel like home. The breakfast room is beautiful located with a view, they serve lots of cakes...I don't eat sweet in the mornings, but the cakes look tempting. The hotel is located within walking distance to town. You can walk along the beach promenade to the old town (it took is 45 mins from the hotel). There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to town, so convenient.

Nuestra estancia en el Leku Eder superó las expectativas que teníamos con este hotel dada las opiniones que habíamos leído sobre el mismo. Si tuviéramos que describir con una frase nuestra estancia en el Leku Eder sería "estar como en casa", el trato por el personal del hotel fue inmejorable, incluso antes de que llegáramos al hotel (RECOMENDACIÓN: Reservad directamente con ellos). Estamos especialmente agradecidos por la atención recibida con Leyre e Iñaki, en todo momento mostraron su interés sobre nuestra estancia en la ciudad, indicándonos lugares, actividades y sitios para comer tanto en San Sebastián como en pueblos del alrededor. En cuanto al hotel, situado en un lugar icónico de San Sebastián, el Monte Igeldo, se puede disfrutar de una de las mejores panorámicas de la ciudad de San Sebastián. Por otro lado, la tranquilidad es otro punto fuerte que tiene este hotel, alejado del bullicio de la ciudad, pero al mismo tiempo tan próximo al centro de la misma, además la conexión mediante bus es inmejorable, literalmente tiene una parada de autobús en la misma puerta del hotel. Con respecto a nuestra habitación destacar su amplitud, muy limpia (al igual que el resto de estancias en el hotel), buenas vistas, con la equipación necesaria y una cama muy cómoda. Anteriormente, cuando he nombrado “estar como en casa”, me refiero al trato tan cercano recibido por las personas que trabajan allí, porque puedes tomarte una infusión ó café en el comedor mientras disfrutas de unas maravillosas vistas en un horario bastante amplio y porque es la primera vez que cuando he llegado a un hotel, huele a bizcocho recién hecho, era como si estuviéramos en casa, simplemente, maravilloso. Sin lugar a dudas, amenazamos con volver al Leku Eder porque estuvimos muy bien allí y nos encantó la ciudad y alrededores. Un fuerte abrazo desde Almería y Madrid, hasta pronto Leku Eder!

I can highly recommend Leku Eder hotel. We booked for one night only, but stayed for 3! It is so lovely here. This is probably only the second review I’ve ever written on Trip Advisor, but this hotel is worth it! This place is SPOTLESS. The staff is so amazing, Elena and Tania were incredible to us. We had a room with a sea view that was spectacular. When we arrived EVERYTHING we asked for they accommodated ABOVE and BEYOND. Extra pillows, CHECK, a fan (not that we needed it with the windows open, but my husband has become accustomed to air movement and fan noise) CHECK, an extra towel for my hair (I have a lot of hair) CHECK. Our taxi came at 6:00 a.m. and they had a “to go breakfast” packed for us that included everything. We used the breakfast room for an evening picnic and the stored our food and “adult beverages” in their refrigerator and even brought us ice several nights in a row. The only thing that ANYONE would miss is nightlife outside the door, but we’re not in our 20’s and SPECIFICALLY didn’t want that. I can see why this hotel is rated #5 for San Sebastián, don’t stay anywhere else. Make sure to book the sea view rooms, so worth the few extra pennies. The...

Turned up to San Sebastián in a camper can not expecting to get into one of the two official sites. |So looking for a hotel that was available that day, had parking and didn’t cost a fortune. |Hotel Leku Eder fitted those criteria so booked. Wasn’t expecting much but was massively surprised. The hotel seemed far more than two star, the staff were lovely and took time to explain about the area, how the busses worked. |The room was large and immaculately clean. Decor is traditional so not modern chain decor, better fit it I think. |The bathroom had a bath, the height of luxury after a week in a camper van and camp site showers! |You can have tea and coffee in the dining room all day, the dining room that has fairly impressive views. |We hadn’t booked breakfast but for €8 each seemed a bargain. Limited choice with bread ham and cheese, but lovely bread. Plus you can’t complain if there are croissants and three different home made cakes. |So overall, ten out of...

Superb quirky hotel on a mountainside with spectacular views and wonderful friendly staff. From start to finish we could not fault it, quite possibly the best service we have ever received from a hotel.

Breakfast is great value (currently €6 each) you get a selection of cheese and meats, bread, fruits, juices and coffee, followed by some of the nicest homemade cakes, our favourite ones were the apple cake and the carrot cake, chocolate orange was good too.

The manager is a friendly guy who offers great local guidance, you can tell he was born to do this job.

There is a bus stop right outside and the bus is every 20 minutes and for €1.85 it takes you into the old town. If you want to get a taxi it's between €9-12 depending on what time you get one.

Nothing was too much hassle for th staff here, they're genuinely fantastic, we would recommend this...
