El Centro Cultural Cajagranada, uno de esos sitios que puede pasar desapercibido a ojos del turista, pero que esconde uno de los lugares más increíbles y bonitos de toda Granada.

Entrando por el edificio pantalla, el mismo donde está sitúado el Restaurante Arriaga, al frente de las escaleras encuentras el edificio basamento. En él tienes el Museo Memoria de Andalucía, un museo que va contando la historia de Andalucia a través de sus cuatro salas, desde la prehistoria hasta la actualidad. El museo, que parece del futuro, tiene pantallas interactivas, un atlas interactivo y mucho más. Esta es una de las mejores formas de aprender sobre la historia de nuestra tierra.

En la planta superior está situada la coleccion permanente, con obras de Kandinsky, Andy Warwhol, Apperley, David Roberts, Picasso, Miró, Cristina García Rodero, Chema Madoz, ...

También van cambiando las exposiciones temporales cada cierto tiempo, lo que hace que uno siempre esté atento para descubrir cual es la siguiente exposición que vendrá.

Lo mejor de la planta superior es que es gratuita, esto significa acceso a la cultura libre, cosa que hace mucha falta en Granada.

Para terminar el museo también ofrece talleres, espectáculos y cumpleaños para niños.

Estaba sacando unas fotos a unas pequeñas obras que hice porque el contraste de las obras con el hormigón me parece genial. Estaba en las escaleras y en el espacio abierto, antes de ingresar al salón o a la cafetería, cuando se me acercó un guardia (muy amable eso sí) para echarme diciéndome que no puedo sacar fotos sin el consentimiento. No había nadie. Eran las 14hs del 30 de diciembre. Literalmente estaba solo yo. ¿El consentimiento de quién? Me dijo que si venía el director y me veía sacando fotos le iba a caer una gorda a él. Por supuesto me fui. El hace su trabajo. Y no quería complicarle las cosas a él. Pero si llegó a decirme eso es porque las autoridades son muy estructuradas y no permiten que el espacio sea abierto y disfrutado por su belleza. Repito, no estaba dentro del salón, estaba en las escaleras. En el espacio de acceso para minusválidos. Es lamentable que una ciudad que quiere ser capital europea del arte, tenga este discurso a quienes quieren apreciar justamente su arte y sentirse...
