Comfortable relaxing almost home like 2 story bar cafe restaurant with extremely sincere friendly staff. The Manager host was so nice and as we lived near by saw him attentive outside quite often speaking with people and inviting them inside. Few staff speak English fairly well but that didn't stop the others from making sure you were cared for. We enjoyed meals and drinks alike here. Didn't have many tapas, just nice home cooked traditional meals. Liked the fact there was an upstairs seating area which was a proper dining set up. Also appreciated the tvs around the place to catch games. If in the area, stop by and enjoy a relaxing meal without the tourist scene. There are some expats and travelers coming in but it is not the downtown scene for sure. Assume the place is packed during bull fights as the arena is next door almost. Christina was amazing! She was very attentive and service was in spot. Now let's talk about the food. OMG! The Sangria was the best I've had in Madrid so far and I've had quite a few since getting here, I'm just saying. The Pickled Shitake Mushrooms were amazing but just so you aren't disappointed, French fries are potatoe chips. The chips were still good though. For entrees we shared Salmon, Pork and Oxtails. The flavors were on point and seasonings left NOTHING to be desired. All plates were left clean! Then they brought us some delicious olive bread and dare I say there may have been one or two crumbs left. Overall the experience was delectable and I highly recommend. Do your mouth and buds a favor, eat here at least once...

We found this restaurant after watching corrida de toros. It’s exciting that they have English menu. We ordered Iberia ham, grilled pork, oxtail timbale and cheesecake with violet ice cream. All are unbelievably good. It’s sad that we haven’t discovered this restaurant earlier. The nutty flavor and creamy taste of ham are prominent. Oxtail can easily melt in mouth. Though the pork is a bit too resilient, it’s still well-seasoned and impressive. I also want to add that cheesecake is always perfect with raspberry jam.
