Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste is a beautiful public rose garden tucked away in the lower parts of the public park. It's well worth the way down and the climb back up, especially if you are a fan of the flower. There are literally tens of different species of roses to be discovered. Names and origins are clearly indicated. The Rosaleda is a living entity. It takes several visits at different times of the year to appreciate how the garden changes from one season to another.

One of the most peaceful places in Madrid. For enthusiast which like flowers, you need to go to this spot. The park is very well maintained with an astonishing amount of different roses and some other flowers. A must go! Its also strongly recommended for everyone who wants to enjoy a more calm environment then the busy city. You will find a wonderful retreat. There are plenty of park benches and with a good book you can enjoy life, luck and good spirits.

It is a very lovely park, it’s free and doesn’t cost anything, check the local times for when it opens and closes, it has a lovely little pond and a very nice statue in a water fountain, the garden is very well maintained and has lots of lovely flowers. Definitely worth checking out and taking a walk in the park. There are several other monuments close by worth checking out as well.

Last April 7th, 2024, a couple of friends went to this park. The Garden of La Rosaleda in Madrid is part of Parque del Oeste. It is open every day of the year, and entry is free. It is located very close to the Príncipe Pío station, the Plaza de España, the Temple of Debod, and the Cable Car. It's a nice place to walk around and spend time with family and friends.

So beautiful... and we visited in mid-November. I can't imagine what this park would be like in the spring, when the flowers are blooming... the smell must be heavenly. Even so... it was a real delight to see. It made me want to start my own rose garden. I wasn't sure my camera was taking good photos of the roses... but it looks like they turned out okay.
