It was still locked.. there were four girls also came to the mosque to offer prayers from Germany. We were all disappointed and could not understand how a mosque could be locked for prayers??. I do understand this could be for security reasons, but I also understand this mosque is owned and built by Saudi Royal family and they are not known for short of change.. they could employ round the clock security and keep the mosque open for prayers. I hope this is rectified as it is disappointing for a small community of Muslims that do want to go and pray in the mosque irrespective of the specified timings. Churches are open all day for people to come & go . And there is no reason that mosques could not be open...
