Wir haben 3Mal versucht, hier etwas zu essen, weil wir in der Nähe gewohnt haben. Jedes Mal waren laut des Empfangsmädchens alle Tische vergeben und / oder die Küche gerade geschlossen oder kurz vorm Öffnen oder Schließen... Laut Internet ist der Laden von 11 Uhr bis 00 durchgehend geöffnet... Ich versuchte auch telefonisch durchzukommen und auch hier erfolgslos. Eine Website mit einer Buchungsmöglichkeit gibt es nicht. Die selbe Bedienung hatte darauf die Antwort, dass das Telefon erst ab 12.45 belegt wäre… Beim letzten Besuch musste das Empfangsmädchen extra nachfragen, ob die Küche geöffnet hat und kam mit der Info zurück, dass es noch 20’ bis zur Küchenöffnung dauern würde. (Weiß man das denn vorher nicht??) Das hätten wir in Kauf genommen. Nur leider meinte das selbe Mädchen dann, sie hätte keine Tische frei, nur einen in der Sonne gleich beim Eingang. Das wollten wir natürlich nicht, denn der Laden war bis auf einen Tisch leer. Auch knapp eine Stunde später (wir haben einen Aperol zu uns genommen und das von der Bar aus beobachtet) waren 2 weitere Tische besetzt und sonst war der Restaurantbereich weiterhin leer… Wir haben ehrlich gesagt, die Strategie dahinter nicht verstanden. Uns ist es wirklich egal, was der Laden mal war, was es vorgibt zu sein… Das Personal scheint das Geld auf den Tischen liegen zu lassen… Dazu herzlichen Glückwunsch (…) Die Nachbarrestaurants machen einen professionellen Job, deswegen räumen die ab;-) Fairerweise vergeben wir für das Ambiente einen Durchschnittswert von 3 Sternen, denn die Musik und der Aperol waren gut. Falls Victor’s Beach eine Homepage mit einem Konzept möchte, übernehmen wir das gerne:-).

We tried eating here three times because we lived nearby. Each time, according to the receptionist, all tables were taken and/or the kitchen was closed or about to open or close... According to the internet, the restaurant is open continuously from 11 a.m. to midnight... I also tried to get through by phone, but without success. There is no website with a booking option. The same waitress replied that the phone would only be busy from 12:45 p.m. On our last visit, the receptionist had to ask specifically whether the kitchen was open and came back with the information that it would be another 20 minutes until the kitchen opened. (Don't they know that in advance?) We would have accepted that. Unfortunately, the same girl then said she had no tables available, except for one in the sun right by the entrance. Of course, we didn't want that, because the place was empty except for one table. Even an hour later (we had an Aperol and watched from the bar), two more tables were occupied and the rest of the restaurant area was still empty... To be honest, we didn't understand the strategy behind this. I really don't care what the place used to be, what it pretends to be... The staff seem to be leaving the money on the tables... Congratulations on that (...) To be fair, we give the atmosphere an average rating of 3 stars, because the music and the Aperol were good. If Victor's Beach wants a website with a concept, we'd be able to take...

Una verdadera pena lo que ha sucedido con Victor's Beach. Eduardo, es un chico que atiende y recibe bien al cliente pero la organización del servicio es realmente pésima. Néstor, un camarero que lleva allí más de 20 años según quién seas te trata de una manera y otra. Me explico: Reservamos por teléfono, tras llamar varias veces no nos atendían y a punto de reservar en otro nos devuelve la llamada, Eduardo, y realizamos la reserva a las 15h. Nos "recibe" Néstor, un camarero bastante poco educado y, tras mentirnos sobre la mesa que nos habían reservado ya que, nos dice que no puede darnos mesa a la sombra ya que tiene una reserva de 8pax y necesita esa mesa para montarla, aparece Eduardo y nos sienta en la mesa a la sombra. Néstor, pretendía que mi señora madre y yo nos sentáramos al sol en la entrada, alegando que es él quién gestiona las reservas y que "eso es lo que hay". Delante nuestra, le hace un comentario a Eduardo: "pero qué les vas a dar esa mesa?!?!" (en un tono bastante desagradable), la respuesta de Eduardo es clara: "sí". Pues bien, nos trae la carta una chica argentina muy amable y nuestra sorpresa es que, no solo ha sido extremadamente reducida sino que, además, los precios son abusivos. No nos informaron de los platos que no tenían, pero bueno los cambiamos sin ningún inconveniente. Pedimos 2 entrantes y una lubina King de principal, y pan (cobran 3€ por un bollito más pequeño que la mano, pero no solo eso sino que pides pan, te traen ese bollito y te cobran por persona, en total 1 bollito 6€ (la explicación ha sido que es que se cobra por persona, aunque solo sea 1 bollito de pan). Estuvimos 45 minutos sentadas para que llegara el primer entrante: almejas al vino (literalmente 12 almejas por 28€, pueden verlo en las fotos). Media hora después, sin traernos el segundo entrante (burrata aliñada con trufa supuestamente, y ni aliño de trufa ni ná de ná), aparecen con la lubina... Después de reclamar que estábamos haciendo la digestión con esas tristes 6 almejas por pers, y pedir que devuelvan la lubina ya que era el principal.. Aparecen con la mini-burrata. Pedimos pan (que llegó al finalizar el almuerzo, aunque si es cierto que nos dijeron que estaba en el horno). El remate, es cuando traen la cuenta con la "sugerencia de propina", pueden verlo en la foto del ticket... Más de 2 horas comiendo a salto y, sinceramente, un despropósito total. Una pena que tras 30 años de clientes, el cambio haya sido tan nefasto. No lo recomendamos en absoluto, de verdad que no. Hay mil sitios en la costa en los que la comida se sirve a tiempo y no te recibe un camarero con esos aires de grandeza. Lo siento por Eduardo, pero el resultado ha sido una auténtica...

An Amazing location right on the sea, but due to it's popularity the management & staff are spoiled for choice of clients. You can be left for a long time and feel unwelcome which is a great pity as it used to be such a friendly and welcoming place. Having said that the DJ can be great and we would recommend that you check the prices well in advance of ordering drinks or food as you may be shocked at the final bill. It may be close to Marbella but it shouldn't have Marbella prices! Maybe choose a quiet time and get one of the best tables you will find anywhere along the seafront overlooking the waves and enjoy & maybe Sip your smaller glass of beer or wine and remember that if the staff put something on your table " it won't be free & may be very much overpriced " Hopefully management will revert to the way it used to be and the great value and...
