Wow! After coming to Marbella for a number of years, i have never experienced something so impertinent. My family of 5 attended Les Jardins Du Liban and not only was i faced with the upmost disrespect but also additional charges to my bill that weren’t supposed to be there - a total of £150 in charges of incorrect wine orders and additional service charges to the one already appropriate. When i politely asked to have these removed from my bill, i was greeted with poor attitude and rolling of eyes which was then when i asked to speak to the manager. The inexperienced manager couldn’t handle my genuine complaint and instead of them speaking to me about my enquiry with human decency, i was threatened with physical force by three Puerto Romano security officers armed with batons. Subsequently, this happened in front of my 9 year old son who was distraught at this threatening behaviour. I remained confused as to what I’d personally done wrong as all i’d asked for was to not pay a section of the incorrect bill. I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted by what i have experienced tonight, i feel violated along with the rest of my family and the only reason why i’ve been let off harm free was because i was forced to pay the full bill. abusive and repulsive - please avoid...
Read moreAwful experience, from the first second stepping inside no one was willing to come and greet us and to help with our reservation i needed to go inside to them to help us sit down.
Now to the food was awful keep in mind that this food is from my culture so i know how things I order should taste. Everything was a catastrophe. The tabbouleh was soggy and not fresh at all must been there the whole day and sallad should not be served like that. The hummus was old in the taste, the cheese rolls i don’t even know what kind of cheese they use but not a good taste at all. I can be honest and say that the only thing that was good from the starters was the labneh.
Now to the main course i took mixed grill with fries and of course they come out with rice instead of fries.
And the first bite i took from the chicken it was totally burnt and tasteless could not even swallow it all this destroyed my appetite and i gave them back the plate got offered a new one but that could not save the situation.
the prices are a fantasy for a restaurant offering this Service and...
Read moreWhen you go to "Les Jardins du Liban" for the first time, you expect to find good lebanese food given the restaurant's location. Well yes, the food is GREAT. Don't expect to find the regular strongly spiced lebanese food that we are used to in Europe, (which is also good from time to time), and remember that just because the food is rich in spices it does mean it has to be strong or heavy. In this restaurant, the flavors are exquisitely mild and subtlety combine spices, roasted vegetables and smooth textures to create a unique combination wich blends perfectly with the atmosphere provided. We were delighted by the exclusive decoration and its surroundings. We really felt that all the vegetation, furniture, shades and lights where carefully conceived to contribute to the global experience. Plus the live Djing show was a huge plus for the cocktails. Absolutely loved the day/night vibes. We...
