Good: nice guide through experience, very sweet and professional (tells you how much time you have left and where everything is) wonderful massage!!! (book a longer one! ;)) calming atmosphere (candles, music, tea, ...) get shoe covers warm and cozy
Potential to be better: Hygiene level in changing room: dirty, wett, noone cleaned during my stay, were supposed to put shoes in small locker (no space or shelfs inside, so pile everything on top), but they were dirty already from the few steps (shoecovers show exactly that floor was dirty because black fabric) so I left them outside. Why not leave shoes in the entry and handing out flipflop? That would be much better! Changing room so small, we were 3 women in there and we really struggled to get all dressed and ready at the same time in there (not enough hooks, bench space, space to stand and move around, only one sink, one hairdryer - the changing room is only ok for 1-2 women, not 3+ unfortunately) Also there were old towels hanging around, so the staff should really check the changing room more often and make it ready for the next guests. If someone new opens the door to come in they all see you standing there fully naked, changing. (Happened to me, a woman wanted to come in, her husband was outside, as the changing room of the men is further down...so not his fault!) = a curtain or little wall would be nice, so not everyone sees you as soon as door opens (which you cannot lock). You dont get a clean towel for showering, you have to use the one you were covered with during the massage (wet from bathing suit). = bring your own towel to shower!!
Dear Team, it would be amazing if you cleaned more often and maybe revisit the changing room again (think closely about processes of getting undressed and dressed). Also: normally, in a real Hammam, you dont wear bathing suits but thin towels (provided by hammam) and everyone takes a shower before entering the pools. So these 2 points were also a bit concerning for...

My wife purchased a €100 gift card for me as a Christmas gift at the reception desk. She asked about redemption, checking that I would be able to book my session and redeem the card whenever I like, which the lady on the desk confirmed (“yes yes, no problem at all, whenever you want”). My wife is Spanish, incidentally, so no room for confusion.
However, when trying to use their online booking system, no weekend slots were available for any time or day that I tried. (Inconveniently, the booking system doesn’t display all available times; users just have to keep guessing).
It turns out that they have two booking systems; one for people who want to book and pay, and one for people looking to redeem gift cards. This is a red flag, of course. 🚩
In any case, in the end I gave up and just emailed them (rather than telephone, because my Spanish isn’t great), saying I wanted to book my 45 minutes, or, if available, a full hour and pay the difference. Zero response.
This week my wife went in to sort it out, as she works around the corner. Now it transpires that gift card redemption at weekends is only possible between 20:00h and 22:00h. On weekdays (not my preference), only daytime sessions are bookable by gift card.
Note that this ‘rule’ does not appear on their website either in their FAQ or in Terms & Conditions. Neither is it stated in the ‘Terms of Use’ that come with the card.
This is, of course, a con. It’s another example of a business happy to take your money, but then short-change customers wanting to redeem. Why is our money not as good as walk-in customers? Because they’ve already got our money, that’s why.
It’s a con and I want...
