Casa Navas what was built in the beginning of the 20th century. This is the most important modernist building to visit in Reus, you are not allowed to photograph anything on the inside, but you are allowed to go on the tour.

That is exactly what my boyfriend and I did. We bought the tickets in the early afternoon and waited for our time to get in line. It wasn’t a long wait and they had us put on booties over our shoes to protect the floor. We were allowed to photograph the grand entryway, which is what you’re seeing below in parts of the entrance of the house.

Keep in mind if you go during the summertime that they do not have air conditioning in this building so you should definitely dress for the condition if it is a hot day.

All of this has remained intact from stone, marble, and the stained glass is all original. Part of the building on the left façade was damaged due to a bomb during the Civil War but it is an absolutely incredible that you’re walking into a piece of history that was a very important architectural structure.

The tour was fantastic, the staff were very informative of the facts of this building, and answered any questions that we had definitely have a bottle of water with you and take your time enjoying this...

While the house itself is truly beautiful and definitely a must see, the guided tour was very disappointing to say the least. The guide rushed us through the tour like she was seriously late somewhere. While we admire her ability to speak a thousand words per minute and switch between languages, we didn't really pay to check out her linguIstic skills. The impression was that she just wanted to be done with this asap. After a while it just became a white noise and we stopped listening - it totally killed the mood! She also didn't allow to take photos under some stupid pretext. And this way the tour that was supposed to last for 1 hour was finished in 35 minutes.

Piece of advice: ignore the guide (she won't tell you anything you can't find yourself on Wiki anyway), take your time to enjoy the beautiful design and decorations and just take all the photos you like, they don't really care and can't stop you. Hope you have a better experience...

Such a beautiful house in the center of Reus. It has a gorge wood work through out the house and stunning stained glass windows and mosaics. The house was really breathtaking, and it is impressive to see how well is taken care of. We purchased our ticket in advance online, although there was a lot of people, we did not have to queue or wait. It was really smooth. The guide was really nice, she explained everything to the detail. She really enjoyed showing the place and sharing the stories about their owners and its construction. The tour last one hour and you get to visit two of the five floors. The time flies by and you wish you could stay a little bit more. Such a fantastic experience! If you are visiting Reus, this place is definitely a must.
