Did not visit the museum part, just enjoyed the cafe there - located in the interior courtyard, at one level down from street level. The place is charming, to stay the least! Cosy and quiet and colorful and special!! Like the small town you're walking through (La Laguna). The coffee was also great (cappuccino or latte)- the best on the island, to tell my truth. And the sounding on the nearby bell tower, at fixed quarter hourly intervals is magnificently captured by that basement level...

True hidden gem that is worth the time and money!

I thought the rooms were going to be empty or with the minimum number of furniture but turned out they were full of original items and big collections.

It was very entertaining and we got a chance to see what the Canarian home from within looks like. And then there is a lovely cafe in the courtyard which is a great addition with tasty food and awesome vibe. Highly...

Most reviews are about the cafe. This one is about the museum. Nice view into the world of a rich upper middle class family in the 19th century, that also was into collecting objects of beauty. The paintings and sculptures are more craft than art but the whole is charming. Very nice and interested staff that accompanied us. Recommend!

Beautiful environment, friendly staff and delicious food. The scrambled eggs (with potatoes) are great (very delicious). A bottle of local beer is less than 2 euros ( at least double it in the UK). My wife usually doesn't drink tea, and the staff provided her with a cup of hot water ( very nice). Highly recommend.
