Bad experience and a bitter taste in my mouth. Great idea, but this is a work in progress. Spending one hour only with the crew shows in their behaviour, they do not care about their passengers. PLEASE make sure to be seated on the left hand side, otherwise you will have a bad experience as well. You can't choose the seat you are assigned one. Lots of passengers were small children which made a lot of noise, ignored the restriction on food and drink, as well as not wearing masks. I could ignore all that, if the personell would even do anything when the children screamed out of their lungs during the security announcement. Not one word on asking anyone to listen to life saving advise. Unfortunately. At the start of the ride it's been told they turn around the submarine and everybody will see the same. I wish this was the truth. They drive to a certain point, break and stay there. The passengers on the left hand side are asked to stand up and look out of the right side (which was just not possible during our ride). The break is spend under water while the left hand side can look at a vast majority of sea life and the right hand side looks out to empty sea. The submarine turned around, just to drive past the point they breaked before and not giving all passengers the same opportunity for pictures. But confidently, this is what the DVD's are sold for... sad. The bitter taste, they was a stingray being guided around the submarine to take pictures, which missed the sting completely. This stingray was very close the to divers and there was no announcement this "injury" was not related to the tour. To ease my bad feeling I asked back on land the same question to one of the staff members, no answer either. So I can only hope, but have to feel this stingray was hurt based on this tourist attraction.
Do you get a submarine ride? Yes, the reason for not having 1*. Is it a safari? Only if you are lucky with your seating. For me a clear no.
PS: Lovely bus driver and banger playlist, best thing about the whole tour. (as sad as this...
Read moreInteresting experience, our first booking was cancelled when we were due to be picked up. Rearranged for another day and an earlier trip.
For anyone in Adeje/Cristanos/Americas I would recommend the earliest possible tour. It's a bit out of the way being near the airport so you could be on the coach anywhere from 30 to 60 mins.
A bit of waiting around when we arrived at the dock waiting for the sub to come back in. Though boarding was pretty quick and came with the Tenerife standard camera man.
The submarine seats passengers on either side, each window has two seats covering it and a small screen which cycles through external cameras.
If you're in an odd numbered group expect to be a bit close to a stranger as you're both leaning in and over to look out the window.
On our dive one of the seats broke for another passenger which was obviously awkward for them. Since it was fully booked they were sitting with the staff away from their partner for the remainder.
I guess it's the look of the draw but the fish predominantly seemed to enjoy the left side of the sub on our journey. There are divers when you're out half way who make a decent effort to feed and encourage fish to each window.
There was a variety of fish but not all that much, I was a bit underwhelmed but my 3 year old was in his element, my partner also loved it.
On the return you're given a personalised certificate with your name and dive number for free.
I'd definitely recommend it for the first time but I don't think I would do it again, a unique...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This was my first solo journey of discovery abroad at the age of 42. My mates now fully settled kept banging on at me to go away and "find myself" having had 2 failed long term relationships and countless abysmal online dating disasters. So being single it got me thinking. A pretty bad 13 months especially and one final moment to give me the push and confidence to actually do it. No one knew till I was at the airport. One of my excursion "experiences" was on board the Yellow Submarine and start to finish was mouth wide open and very emotional with quite a few happy tears especially when I saw the support boat which was following above, the diver appeared by the window cuddleing a huge sting ray and showing they are harmless. He even stroked its tummy all the way to the end of its tail and held it again to demonstrate trust between human and animal when there is 100% respect. This was a total all round 5 star experience that you will never forget. Tour around the island also to all the ship wrecks and bases of the volcanoes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🐬🐋 🐠🐟🐚🪸. Thank you to the pilots of the sub and your team for totally changing my perspective on life and having the realisation that there is a life off my home island of England. I've now landed back home and feel like DiCaprio at the end scene of The Beach 😅Best wishes from...
