Volcanic Island — Restaurant in San Miguel de Abona

I've read some reviews before I went to that place. Some of them were negative but I give it a chance and went to that place to have some food which on pictures looks delicious. I would like to add that every day I've been eating with my kids in some restaurants around and this one charged me the most. I've tried one of my child food and was cold inside , like it was from frozen, my order looks and taste a bit dry and on top of that which absolutely kills me was the price for my kids drinks. Two juices costs 9 € . I mean two glasses . I didn't argue with staff as I didn't want my children to look at that kind of situation a specially when we are on holidays. Just wanna add that few days before I've been two pair of doors away from that place in restaurant and I've paid for food and drinks 10 € less. In Volcanic Island my bear was cheaper then the juice ( not from bottle , box etc ) cost 4.50€ each. Keep an eye on prices there. I'm not sure if I can reccomend that place. Only pizza looks best of all. Ps. By looking at the pictures on Google from that restaurant I think I got wrong menu or something like that as it was very boring, not much choice...

I love this place! We first visited in Feb 2022 and now we're back in Feb 2023. It may look like an average restaurant, but my advice is to head there. The food is amazing and they have a great selection to choose from, with some of the best dishes we've eaten in the whole of Tenerife. They also have an amazing cocktail list, and their white sangria is definitely the best we've had. They now have live music in the afternoon, which just adds to the afternoon atmosphere with great views and sunshine. A special mention to Deb who is a waitress there. She made our first visit there a super memorable one, we never stopped laughing and had such a good time. So always happy to head back there for lunch or dinner, or just for a drink.

! I recommend no one to eat here! We walked past this place other day and saw it was packed so we though why not try it out, it looks nice how mistaken was we; service at the start was fine ordered drinks got them within 2 minutes, ordered food came quickly ish but it was not pleasant, we had a 2 person mixed grill it was covered in grease and fat the meat was bare average, a guy who looked less fortunate in dirty clothes walked in smoking about letting his dog run to other customers eating, after another guy left with a dog he was very drunk and couldn’t control his dog as I was eating he jumped on me and tried eating my food the owner made no effort into trying to stop him it was disgraceful the staff attitude was also very disgusting worst place I have eaten and very disappointed as it was not a nice way to end a...
