Queen Mary 2 — Restaurant in San Miguel de Abona

We went here on our last day in Tenerife. The restaurant was heaving, jam packed when we arrived late in the afternoon. Extremely popular, we found out why shortly after being seated. Staff were super friendly, smiling and accommodating. Service was superb. Located by the harbour overlooking the sea, lovely view and sea breeze. We started with mussels, simple yet absolutely DELICIOUS! I had to wrestle the plate away from my 31 year old daughter, for fear of her licking it! We had the sea food Paella, which is a sharing dish, it was flawless, beautifully presented, succulent, juicy sea food in every single bite. Fresh, flavoursome, wholesome, hearty comfort food. I had a lovely mango smoothie and my daughter had a strawberry daiquiri. Entertainment next door was fantastic. All in all a wonderful early evening experience at this superb eatery. We will definitely return. Strongly recommended great restaurant....

Last visited here in April 2019. Absolutely fantastic place and the food is totally gorgeous. We have visited Tenerife for the past 2 years and we have eaten here 6 or 7 times now. To be honest, we totally love this place and could quite easily eat here every single day as the choice of food, the location (looks out onto the Marina and the Sea), the ambiance and above all else the staff are all phenomenal. Cold beers, great food and unbeatable, prompt customer service, what more could you ask for. The staff even remembered us from our previous visits in 2018, which in itself is something that always makes us feel very so welcome when dining here. We will definitely be back when we next...

We first tried to go on the weekend, but the place was too crowded and we didn't get a seat after waiting for a bit. We then went again on a Tuesday, where the place was about 70% full. I'd say the atmosphere is okay. You're sitting outside, so you have a nice view in the beginning, but then after 7pm, it's a bit cold and dark. As for the service, this staff was friendly and tried hard, but I had a feeling that 3 waiters were not enough for so many tables. Despite that, the food arrived rather quickly.
