Great church in good condition. The entrance is only 2€, plus 1€ if you want an audio guide. It absolutely worth the visit.
You can visit the church with its beautiful retable, as well as visit to the top of the two towers. They are the highest view points of the Trujillo and offer views to the castle, town and surrounding grasslands.

Es una de las grandes iglesias que tiene el pueblo de Trujillo. Merece la pena comprar la entrada para acceder a su interior y más si con ello contribuyes a su mantenimiento. Por fuera llama mucho la atención, es un edificio robusto de piedra muy vistoso. Tiene una torre que es preciosa y además puedes subir a ella, cosa que recomiendo porque tiene unas vistas increíbles de todo el pueblo y en cada una de sus caras tiene unas columnas con unos capiteles muy llamativos. El interior es un poco más sobrio, como la mayoría de las iglesias de Trujillo, pero tiene interesantes soluciones arquitectónicas y decoraciones. El altar mayor que está en la cabecera es muy vistoso. Algo que me llamó mucho la atención es una corona de flores que se encuentra en la capilla bautismal y que es un regalo del pueblo de Perú a Trujillo por ser la ciudad natal de su fundador, me resultó llamativo este hecho de agradecimiento en los tiempos tan controvertidos que vivimos referente a los españoles y sus expediciones en América.
