This was an amazing experience. As a nurse, I was amazed at the scientists revered there, as the studies they pursued made a real, true difference in my career. The different exhibits left me humbled and amazed. What a GREAT museum! I went to the windows and bought a same day ticket, as well as qued up for the Oceanagrafica and Amazon show. Less than 30 € onsite. Online audioguide purchased ONSITE in your language was 1€. HUGE SAVINGS VS ONLINE It is well accessible. For all, there are escalators and elevators. It has PLENTY of hands-on for the children, and I wished I had both my grandchildren with me to experience the exhibits. They were highly informative, though provoking, and lend you to get involved with the world around you. I LOVED LOVED, LOVED the EU Mars exhibit, and was very glad I was able to experience/explore the scenarios. I'm very amazed that I found that the most intriguing and my favorite exhibit was the pendulum.. The building and its architecture are highly provocative. The whole outdoor area is a sensory stimulus, not to be missed...

This museum is a fantastic, interactive experience. Unlike traditional museums where you merely read about exhibits, here you actively engage with them to understand the processes and mechanisms behind everything on display. For instance, the section on cells and human chromosomes is both fascinating and educational, offering insights into biology without making you feel like you're in a natural science museum. We visited as a group and opted for a guided tour, which I highly recommend. The guides are knowledgeable and enhance the experience by providing deeper context and answering questions. The entrance ticket costs 6.80 euros and is valid for the entire day, allowing you to explore from 10 am to 7 pm at your own pace. This flexibility makes it easy to take breaks and revisit exhibits without feeling rushed. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone interested in science and interactive learning.

If I should return to Valencia soon, it would probably be because I want to have a repeat experience of visiting awesome locations like Museum of Sciences at the central city. This place is for sure and architectural and landscaping splendour. I spent almost an entire day moving from booth to booth and relishing the wonders of the depth of historical preservation that was put together within this magnificent space. There are cafeterias downstairs in case you get into trouble with hunger, a number of waiting areas too; you would surely run out of strength because there are numerous interesting things to look at as well as questions you may love to ask. The toilets downstairs are sparkling clean. A visit to this museum was one of the very many high points of my little tour of Europe.

Fantastic science museum with interactive exhibits - and a gorgeous building. As a fan of space science, I especially enjoyed the Mars exhibit and the models of rockets and Curiosity Rover and the ISS as well as the mirrored room with space images that were like standing in a kaleidoscope. With our joint ticket purchased online we were able to leave the exhibit area and come back after an excellent meal in the Restaurant Trattoria and an IMAX movie at Hemispheric and a break in Turia Park. The upper levels of the museum do get warm on hot days. We spent over 3.5 hours on the exhibits and didn’t see it all! (So glad that we didn’t try to also see Oceanographic the same day, as that was a full day. It’s great to be able to book the tickets on separate dates and still get a discount.)

I feel like a lot of the reviews here are for the city of arts and science as a whole which is definitely amazing. I give the museum 2 stars just for the grandeur of the building, yet this is best enjoyed from outside. As for the science exhibits, I have rarely been to a worse museum in a major city. The slogan's emphasis on interactivity is completely misleading, with many of the exhibits based on reams of text and stationary pictures or models. No clear narrative or progression. Mostly quite uninteresting to us and we are curious science oriented adults. I hate to think how one would fare with children! Photographs show the bizarre nature of some of the exhibits (if I wanted to read scientific papers I would be much more comfortable doing so on my computer at home!).
