حلبة مصارعة الثيران لاس فينتاس "بلازا دي توروس" بالعاصمة الإسبانية مدريد الحلبة عبارة عن قلعة كبيرة شيدت في العام 1931م على الطراز العربي. عند دخول الحلبة ستجد غرفة تسمى بغرفة الماتادور (المصارع)، وهي الغرفة التي يجتمع بها مصارعو الثيران لتجهيز أنفسهم قبل بدء العروض، كما توجد أيضا كنيسة صغيرة يذهب إليها المصارع للصلاة كطقس أساسي يجب فعله قبل الدخول إلى حلبة المصارعة. عادة ما يرى الماتادور الثور الذي سيقوم بمصارعته لأول مرة على منصة الحلبة، حيث يحضر المصارع إلى الحلبة قبل بدء العرض بنصف ساعة، ويتم عمل قرعة لكل ماتادور لاختيار الثور الذي سيصارعه، ثم تبدأ العروض. تصنف حلبة لاس فينتاس في المرتبة الثانية بعد حلبة فنزويلا كأكبر حلبة لمصارعة الثيران على مستوى العالم حيث أنها تتسع لأكثر من 25 ألف متفرج، محاطين بالحلبة المغطاة بالرمال. يذكر أن مصارعة الثيران صناعة مهمة في إسبانيا باعتبارها نشاطا تقليديا يقوم بممارسته سكان المملكة على مر العصور، وهي تجمع أكثر من ألف مزرعة لتربية ثيران المصارعة ويعمل بهذا القطاع نحو 200 ألف شخص. لقد تأثرت مصارعة الثيران الإسبانية بالأساس بالمعارضة المتنامية بين نشطاء حقوق الحيوان وبين المتمسكين بالتقاليد، وتظل مصارعة الثيران – وهي رقصة حتى الموت بين رجل وحيوان متوحش – أبرز تعبير عن الرياضة الإسبانية.

The link on Google maps says it's open 1030-1330 & also again the afternoon. We arrived at 11am and everything was closed. It doesn't look like it's ever open for tours. The only poster was for a fiesta in April. Very disappointing. The building looks stunning from the outside but it would have been good to see inside & get...

No tengo palabras, vergonzoso se queda corto. Compras las entradas (53€_4 entradas) con toda la ilusión para pasar una buena mañana en familia y llegas allí y no tienes sitio para sentarte!!! El personal de la plaza tiene la cara de decirte que el que madruga es el que tiene sitio, pero es que el inspector de la plaza aún tiene más cara y nos dice que vayamos nosotros a los padres de los niños menores de 6 años que están ocupando un sítio (el cual no han pagado, porque tiene entrada gratis) y les digamos que se lo tienen que sentar en sus piernas, que él no se va a encarar con la gente.

Familias a las 9 de la mañana sin poder sentarse todavía.... Y que supongo que acabarían yendo a las taquillas a poner una reclamación. Parte del problema serán los niños menores de 6 años, pero que venden más entradas del aforo permitido también; si todo el mundo que está abajo de pie se quisiera sentar sería...
