During our visit to Kungsparken in Malmo, Sweden, we were treated to the beauty of a magnificent garden. The park boasts stunning lakes and expansive green spaces, providing a fantastic setting for leisurely walks and relaxation. Its close proximity to Malmo Castle further enhances the charm of the city. We were captivated by the panoramic views offered by the park, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the natural splendor. Kungsparken is a truly amazing place, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a serene and picturesque escape in Malmo.

Great park for a walk, jogging, coffee or ice cream. Activities are often organised, and there are plenty of children’s playgrounds. Established in 1872, it is Malmö’s oldest public park, designed in the romantic English garden style and home to over 120 tree species from three continents. Highlights include a historic cast-iron fountain from 1882, the decorative “Grottan” cave with its Norse-inspired snake head fountain, and beautiful canal-side azaleas and rhododendrons

What an incredibly nice place in the middle of Malmö. We really like trees and nature so we were really amazed. No entry fee, a lot of benches, delicious ice was offered by a very kind young lady, a lot of water and flowers. We noticed that everything was really clean and tidy, people were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we have visited Malmö on a public holiday so maybe normally we could see more.

I love this park. Its name is also Slotsparken. The channel is running through the park, so you can pass around via bridges. Boats are sailing on the channel. An old mill is seen from long distance. In one corner you can find the Casino. Over a bridge you find the restaurant outdoor but also a kind of indoor.

The park is divided in more parts. In one of them you will in Spring and Summer find tulips, daffodils, narcissus and many other summer plants. The bushes and trees are beautiful. At the beginning of June you can enjoy the "Garden Show" with more competitions of showing your own idea of a garden within a theme. Viewers will vote for their favorite, and the winners get their prizes. You can buy plants, vegetables, honey, oils and many more products from the small stalls. There are many stalls with food.

In the area you can also visit the old castle and examine the exhibition in the museum. You can find art and schulptures in the huge park. The park is full of beautiful flowers in flower beds. Many nice trees and bushes. A beautiful tree allure with tall trees. Stay in the park or cross around. Come back and enjoy the seasons...

This is a beautiful green spot of Malmö. Big variety of trees (thanks to some botanists and scientists in the past and the park authority of today) and if you look closely you will see cherry trees from Japan next to a maple tree from Canada. No mangoes or pawpaw though (not strictly trees though I guess). Great for a run, a walk, lots of bins for dog poo, and a wonderful cafe (Slottsträdgården) close to the castle. There you will also find a garden with even more exotic flowers and well tended hedges.

The park spans from Regementsgatan and the big library (one of my favorite spots as a kid) to Malmöhus, the surprisingly old castle in Malmö, now (not so surprisingly) a museum. Well worth the walk in the park, a coffee, and...

Beautiful trees. It would be just as good in winter as in summer. We went down to one of two bridges to the Slottsparken where there is a very nice cafe with outdoor seats. Right next to it is a fairly comprehensive demonstration type garden meant to show what is possible. There were many plants and vegetables together using companion planting and there was no charge to enter this area. You certainly don't need a tour to see this area. We walked from the central station area through Gamla Vester which has fascinating and very...
