Westerville Mall - lots to see and do!

Westerville Mall, located a bit far from the city center, is undoubtedly one of the biggest malls in Stockholm and offers a comprehensive shopping and entertainment experience.

Despite its distance from the heart of the city, the trip is worth it. The mall boasts an impressive variety of stores catering to all kinds of shoppers, admittedly more for locals than tourists. From high-end fashion to budget-friendly options, there's something for everyone. The food options are equally diverse, with numerous restaurants and eateries to satisfy any craving.

One of the standout features of Westerville Mall is the entertainment available. The top floor is home to a bowling alley, a game arcade, and a bar all in one, providing endless fun for families and friends alike. The cinema is another highlight, featuring a unique supermarket concept where you can pick and choose your snacks, candy, and drinks just like in a grocery store. This seems to be a clean and beautiful mall, so I would be supposed to give 5 stars.

But I visited this mall three times during the weekend Stockholm hosted Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and I made the experience that the men's toilettes were partly closed for no reason. In every one of the four toilette areas, the urinals where closed in the hours before the events took place, leaving the men's toilettes with only 5 cabins. It was claimed that there was either maintenance work or just work going on and they put a barrier at the entrance, but it is hard to believe that they really do maintenance work in every one of the four toilette areas three days in a row in the afternoon exactly in the hours before such a big event. They also made the toilettes unisex for the weekend and thus people were confronted with waiting times of more than 30 minutes for everyone. If the urinals weren't close, both men and women wouldn't have had to queue that long. One time, as my need was quite urgent, I just sneaked behind the barrier and found perfectly clean and working urinals with no sign of any maintenance work in progress. I tried to talk to any official but no one wanted to comment on this issue.

I don't know why someone would close perfectly clean and working urinals for no reason right when they are needed the most to provoke queuing times of more than 30 minutes, but I do know that this leaves me with a sore taste and thus I can only give 1 star.
