Open 24/7, free entry, free restrooms, free funicular, kiosk, hills with an amazing view of the Alps, unique water feature that creates clouds, large pavilion, sun loungers and seating. Nice park very close to the main airport building. Excellent for short and long breaks in the fresh air. The old moraine hill used to be a promising place, but so redesigned with so many features, it has now really become a sight. Thank you Master Riken Yamamoto, Park and The Circle are really timeless world-class architecture as an overall concept!

Just outside the Zurich airport, there is a park at the top of a hill which provides a panoramic view of the area surrounding the airport along with the view of the runway. There is also an elevator to reach the top but it was not functional when I visited in the early morning. The walk to the top is scenic with forest trails and at the top there is a big platform to enjoy the view and there are seats available to rest. Just a marvelous place to spend some time in nature during a layover.

Sehr schöner Park direkt neben dem Flughafen hinter The Circle bei der Tramhaltestelle. In wenigen Minuten vom Flughafen aus erreichbar. Tolle Aussicht über den Flughafen und die Umgebung. Jede Menge Sitzmöglichkeiten auf Stühlen Bänken und Steinen direkt in der Natur, ideal für eine kurze Pause oder um sein Lunch zu geniessen. Auch Abends ein lohnenswerter Besuch, die Wege sind beleuchtet und die verschiedenen Biotope beschriftet mit gut leserlichen Tafeln (nur in Deutsch). Es gibt einen überdachten Pavilion und ein sauberes Toiletenhäuschen. Wer den schneller Weg nehmen möchte, nimmt die kleine Bahn, die auf Knopfdruck einen nach oben und unten befördert. Wer vor oder nach dem Flug noch Zeit hat, sollte unbedingt den Park besuchen, sehr lohnenswert.
