My visit here had its ups and downs, prompting a 3-star rating. Here’s why:
Initial Reception: Upon arriving at 9:10 PM, the host at the front desk totally ignored both our group and another party behind us, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. A lack of acknowledgment made for an unwelcoming start.
Rushed Timing: A staff member later informed us the kitchen would close at 9:30 PM (with the restaurant closing at 10:00 PM). While we appreciated the heads-up, this left us feeling hurried. That said, we ordered, ate, and settled the bill by 9:27 PM (efficient on our part)
Unexpected Charges: We were surprised to see almost 15 CHF charge for two glasses of water, which we assumed was tap water (no bottled water was provided or mentioned). Transparency about such fees upfront would have been appreciated.
Food Quality: The meal itself was average. Though we were excited to visit based on a strong recommendation from an airport employee (and their colleagues), the dishes didn’t quite meet the expectations set...
Read moreI came here for the first time on my birthday last year, I have to say that this restaurant is extremely beautiful, so beautiful that it made me amazed with joy. But on the contrary, the food was nothing special for me to expect. A few days ago we came back just because we were hanging out nearby and were very hungry. Once again I still like the luxurious decoration, open space with lots of plants.. but the food is still the same, the seafood wasn’t very fresh and the rice was a bit hard like it was taken out of the refrigerator. If you want to come here to take some pictures for Social Media then it's OK but to expect a delicious meal after 2 times I still think it's not worth it. My husband is Swiss and has a very sensitive stomach so he had a stomachache and diarrhea afterwards. I hope a lot for more attention and development for the restaurant, hope the restaurant not only gives us a great feeling of space but the food should also...
Read moreNot terribly impressed. Very expensive for what it is. Food is somewhat mediocre: Chicken Gyoza -- terrible mushy chicken filling texture. Chicken Satay (skewers) -- Possibly the best tasting item we ordered, bit 3 small skewers cost about CHF 15. Tempura Shrimp Roll -- Just ok. Sushi rice was a bit too dense. CHF 5 for each 2 small cut rolls. Edamame -- Pretty average Chicken Ramen -- This was decent. Sliced grilled chicken, half boiled egg, mushroom & veggie.
Be aware that they charge about CHF 5 for a cup of green tea or glass of plain water. Ordering is a bit of a pain. Menus are online only, and you can choose menu items for your wishlist, and pay online for ordered items after your meal, but still have to physically flag down a server to actually take your order... seems silly. Service was...
