This was NOT a good meal and definitely NOT a good experience at the "Zoom" restaurant of this Hyatt Place Zurich Airport. I asked for this Luma Beef Burger (Schweizer Speck, GruyĂšre KĂ€se, Zuni Pickles), but seems I received a lot of weirder ingredients more (a lot of onions was an example), and not enough of the expected cheese. The presentation leaves to be desired as it was literally just the hamburger and a few loose chips as seen in the photo. Nothing you'd find acceptable for a cost of 36 CHF (around 37 EUR), plus 6,50 CHF (7 EUR) for the non-alcoholic drink. But the worst part was just barely finishing and having a staff member shove the bill for me to sign (did the same with other people, it was only 20:xx, and the restaurant wasn't even full). I still wanted some dessert but it seems they didn't care to ask or want to provide it. Only after did someone come to ask if they could take the plates away.    Read moreThanks to the helpful staff at Hyatt Place we were able to make our 20 hour layover in Zurich a memorable stay. They provided us with specific directions on how to get the train from the hotel, what stop to take it to to reach downtown Zurich and answered any other travel related questions we had. The next morning, Jerry helped sort out our breakfast as it was added the night before during check in but was not shown in the system. He insisted we start our breakfast and that everyone will be taken care of. 5 minutes later Jerry confirmed the breakfast was added at the discounted rate and that everything is taken care of. He was very kind to check in with us our meal. All 5 of the staff members we spoke to in the 15 hours we spent in Zurich were extremely helpful, polite and positive. The server was doing his best but he was not trained properly. He struggled with the language barrier and has difficulty taking our orders.
After an extended long wait our food finally arrived. The chicken on the wrap was not cooked properly and we did not eat it for fear of becoming sick.
One person on our party did not receive their order and another waiter came over to try and help and finally the manager came over and we repeated her order and it came after everyone else has finished.
We then had difficulty paying our bill, again a language barrier
Hyatt has their name attached to this business and someone needs to be sure that their staff is trained properly.
Worst meal I have paid for in a long time. Paid 110.00 for two people and am still shaking my head over it.
