I recently visited the Visitor Terrasse at Zurich Airport and was extremely impressed by the experience. The views of the airport and surrounding area from the terrace were stunning, and it was a great spot to watch the planes coming and going. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks on offer were also top-notch, with a great selection of both sweet and savory options. Zurich airport is one of my favourites, because it is usually the first step of my visit to lovely Switzerland, but also because it is spacious, clean, well organized and comfortable. Tip for those who have spare time because of longer connection or who comes too early to their flight: check the "Observation Deck B"! Always nice. Zurich Airport's Zuschauerterrasse B is a cool spot to watch planes. You can see huge jets taking off and landing super close! It's not just about watching, though. There are displays explaining how the airport works, and even a playground for kids with a mini-airplane. You can grab a snack at the bistro, which even has seats made from old plane parts. To get in, you go through Check-in 2 and a quick security check. It's usually open from 10 AM, but check the airport's website for exact times.
