The current asphalt was laid down to protect the tree roots from heavy construction equipment which is being brought in to widen an underground drainage canal (rainwater flowing into the lake). After it is finished in June 2024, the asphalt will be removed and the Rentenwiese will be returned to it's original condition as a...
