Castellan´s — Restaurant in Zurich

Castellan’s is truly a hidden gem in Zürich. From start to finish, this was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in the city.

The starters were incredible: the potato millefeuille might be the best potato dish we’ve ever had, the baked shrimps were insanely addictive, and the tuna tartar with avocado was fresh and perfectly balanced.

For mains, the ribeye was cooked to perfection, the Secreto Ibérico (24hr sous vide) was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the whole fish was fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared.

We ended with a delicious mango sorbet filled with real mango bits and the most unique dessert we’ve had in a while. The Basque Gruyère cheesecake. Rich, savory, and unmistakably Swiss. A must-try!

Service was warm, personal, and attentive. Luke and Anna made us feel right at home.

I had the sea bream and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and tender, flavorful flesh. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural taste of the fish without overpowering it.

The presentation was elegant, and the sides complemented the dish beautifully. Every bite felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
