Frauenbad Stadthausquai — Local services in Zurich

I know the Frauenbad from a visitor's point of view, because it is often rented as a party location. And for that, the Frauenbad is really great (of course only as good as or who the organizer is)! In summer, of course, the best decision to rent, due to the pool feeling inside combined with the decoration and music. It invites you to linger and small talk can quickly lead to acquaintances. Conclusion: go, if you have to opportunity!

One thing and unfortunately too often the case, you have to be patient when ordering drinks ... it takes way too long to order and get them...

Incredible women-only swimming bath in the city center. Visited as a tourist (who was missing summer swims in her own country!) and the staff were welcoming. I went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t crowded at all. It’s a really special place!

Beautiful vintage art nouveau facility with plants and fabulous views over Zurich. Super clean and cosy. There’s a mini bar/restaurant on site too. Toilets, showers, and changing areas also. One secluded pool hidden from sight, and one on the riverfront also.

Was hoping to have a great experience here during the day and it was fine. But it is SO crowded on a hot day. You are literally packed like sardines towel to towel. The best part is the area open to the lake, but that’s where smoking is allowed so you’re forced to be in the interior area. And there swimming isn’t so nice because it feels more like a pool and less like the lake. I could imagine how beautiful it is in the first few minutes it opens. But for a relaxing day swimming, I’ll go to the lake and find a quiet...
