For tourists planning to go to Kaohsiung, the Dragon and Tiger pagodas are am excellent attraction to visit during your stay. These pagodas, as well as many others, can be found on the lotus pond. While the pagodas are only open to go inside during daylight hours (according to the schedule officially listed on Google), it is also possible to visit at night (although only the outside areas) when the temperatures are lower and there are generally less people.
When visiting this area, it is highly recommended to visit the other pagodas in the vicinity as well which may offer more to see than these.
DO: Check out other pagodas Indulge in some snack food in the area Visit the large nearby temple (impossible to miss it) Bring an umbrella

In the Tiger Tower, there are paintings of twelve Magi and the Jade Emperor's thirty palaces as well as paintings of Confucius. The towers have a double spiral staircase, one each for ascending and descending visitors Despite its remodeling, it’s still open to public. It’s hard to tell these towers have been built 40 years. We had great time & explore more on...
